| Abstract: | ??On the basis of metrological analysis of the Chinese book circulation at the library of Beijing Agricultural University for recent three years,the article shows that book circulation subject to Bradford's Law and Bradford's constant is a characteristic variable relating to the distributions of both collection and circulation of books.When both distributions tend to identity or they are very well interrelated,Bradford's constant would be smaller,reversely bigger.Bradford's constant can be used as an objective index evaluating the quality of books collection and Bradford's divisions would be of great importance for directing and optimizing the building of book collection. |
