| 摘 要： | 澳大利亚新英格兰大学是一所中等规模的普通高校，十分重视图书馆建设，其大学主图书馆“狄克逊图书馆”硬软条件精良、人员配置充裕。更为重要的是，它以良好的系统管理充分发挥自己的优势，保证充足的开馆时间，为读者提供了高效、优质的服务，体现出图书馆在高校办学中的支柱作用，颇值得国内高换图书馆借鉴。

| Abstract: | The University of New England is a quite normal educational institution in Australia. Dixson library, the main library of the university, is well equipped and staffed. Importantly, the facilities of this library are very well used, showing its excellent systematic management. In addition to its good hardware conditions, the library is identified by effective network utilization, long opening hours and miscellaneous services. |
