| 摘 要： | 徐旭先生对中国近代民众图书馆的建设作出了重要贡献。他创建“江苏省立教育学院江阴巷实验民众图书馆”，大兴实地调查之风，以社会小书报摊为对象，对其调查分析、研究，提出具有指导意义的建议。他践行“读者第一”，站在民众图书馆理论与实践的前列，创新服务内容，大力向馆外服务拓展，提出具有超前意义的“学校图书馆向社会开放”的问题。通过以学院图书馆为基地，以实验民众图书馆为扩展，以巡回图书馆为延伸，形成一个环环相扣的服务网络，诠释了徐旭先生的服务理念和实践。

| Abstract: | Xu Xu had important contribution to the development of modern popular library of China. He founded Jiangyin Street Experiment Popular Library of Jiangsu Provincial Education College. He made an social investigation of bookstalls, and put forward propositions of guiding meaning. Xu stood in front of theory and practice of popular library, practiced ‘readers firsts’, and brought forth new service ideas of school library open to society. He took college library as the base, experiment popular library for expansion, tour library for extension,and these were annotation to his service idea and practice. |
