| 摘 要： | 针对当前语义网技术在支持科研创新方面的发展，比较两个支持科学研究和学术发现的工具--哈佛大学信息搜索引擎Harvard Catalyst和语义网探索的科学家网络VIVO，包括两者在信息组织方式、系统架构、系统实现关键技术、数据来源、实现的功能等方面的差异，分析VIVO所具有的特色以及存在的问题，讨论当前语义网应用在支持科学研究上具有的特点。
