| 摘 要： | Recommender systems can be a powerful tool for digital libraries if they implement the systems right to information seekers. While patrons have shown an increased interest in recommender systems, digital libraries ought to offer personalized services and assist users both novice and experienced with more sophisticate information retrieval technologies. By guiding users to timely, accurate, and suitable resources within the library the recommender system could take the place of the reference librarian of the bricks and mortar library to enhance the digital libraries services.
