| 摘 要： | 介绍图书馆联合目录发展的起源、历史和普遍使用的两种管理模式。通过集中式和分布式两种管理模式及其不同模式管理的案例，系统介绍天津市高校图书馆建立联合目录所采用的模式、方法、过程及其功能。认为天津市高校联合目录的建立可极大地提高该地区图书馆的自动化管理水平。

| Abstract: | The article first introduces the history of the union cataloging development, then it presents the two types of the union catalog and describes the establishing methods systematically. At last, the paper shows that the establishment of the Tianjin Academic Consortia Union Catelog has greatly improved the automatic management in Tianjin area. |
