| Abstract: | Though in Chinese mainland great achievements have been achieved in the theory of collection development, there is still not an integrated collection development policy put into practice. However, in Taiwan, more and more libraries have established their own collection development policies from 1980's. Based on the discussion of the library collection development policies in Taiwan, this paper selects fifteen library collection development policy files, and makes a comparison among their basic items so as to enlighten us on their experience and lessons. |
