信息服务与可视化的关系辨析

摘    要:目的/意义]剖析可视化的概念及功能,对信息服务实务中的可视化需求展开分析,梳理信息服务中可视化的典型用例,尝试总结并评价信息服务与可视化的关系。方法/过程]从过程的视角分析可视化,从认知、语言和技术的几个视角来探讨可视化的功能,基于两种需求分析框架分别对信息服务生产活动、信息服务产业、信息服务管理和信息服务发展等几类信息服务实务考察其可视化需求,借助生态学思路分析信息服务与可视化间的业务关系。结果/结论]可视化技术为当前信息服务升级提供了契机,具体信息服务实务中有明确的可视化应用需求,信息服务与可视化之间存在供求和共生的关系。

Abstract:Purpose/significance] To examine the concept and function of visualization, analyze the visualization requirements in information service practices, sort out the typical use cases of visualization in information service, summarize and evaluate the relationship between information service and visualization.Method/process] Examining visualization from process perspective.Discussing functions of visualization from the perspective of cognitive, language and technology. Examining visualization needs in the practices like activities, industry, management and development of information service based on two kinds of requirement analysis framework. Analyzing relationship between information services and visualization with ecological thinking.Result/conclusion] Visualization technology provides an opportunity for the current information service upgrade. There are definite demands of visual application in the specific information service practice. There are supply-demand & symbiotic relations between information service and visualization.
