| Abstract: | Electronic copyright is a complement for the traditional copyright under modern technology of communication. With such new objects as databases coming into being, this conception emerges as the times require. The perfection of electronic copyright and the establishing of fair use system of databases promote each other. This paper analyzes the relationship between electronic copyright and the fair use system of databases in respects of the concept of electronic copyright and discusses applying area and standard of databases from their categories. At last, from the point of view of electronic copyright legislation, points out some difficult problems existing in the fair use of databases. |
