| Abstract: | The paper first discusses the similarity and difference between linking and citing.This is followed by an exploration of networked knowledge exchange and it has brought to the field of Webometrics.Then we detailed discuss various applications of link theories and techniques in the knowledge exchange under the networked environment.The paper ends with a discussion on major webometric research areas as well as related issues. |
