| Abstract: | This paper presents the context,forming and development of the socio-cognitive school in Information Science.The socio-cognitive paradigm in Information Science and some important aspects of how the socio-cognitive view looks at Information Need,Information Retrieval and Relevance are illuminated.At the end we have some expectations of the research on the socio-cognitive views in Information Science. |
