Institution: | M. D. R. Evans is Senior Research Fellow in the Institute Applied Economic and Social Research, University of Melbourne, and Director of the International Social Science Survey/Australia. She is currently studying entrepreneurship; migration; labor market preferences, values and participation; and has undertaken a major program of research on the ideology of income inequality. A new stream of research probes public attitudes towards gene therapy, cloning, and other new biotechnologies.
Jonathan Kelley is Professorial Fellow at the Melbourne Institute, University of Melbourne, and a Principal Investigator of the International Social Science Survey/Australia. With M. D. R. Evans, Joanna Sikora, and a large grant from the Australian Research Council, he has constructed the World Inequality Study pooling 95 surveys in 32 nations with over 150 variables and 150,000 cases. He is currently studying inequality, social mobility, and economic attitudes. |
