| Abstract: | In Hainan Province, there are 19 public libraries, with a total area of 33,500 square meters and a total collection of 1.4 million volumes and without a provincial library.To change the present less developed situation, we should update our idea, reform management mechanism and solve the budget problem, reform employment policy and develop human resources, strengthen integrated management and coordination, expedite library modernisation, and promulgate library related laws and acts.4 refs. |
