| Abstract: | In the United States,the academic contention about the "theory of value",M.Dewey being the leading character,and the "theory of demand ",C.A.Cutter and W.F.Poole being the chief characters,has had a profound impact upon the Chinese library circle.It has found its expression in the contention about "stocking"and "using"of library materials.The knowledge of the nature of their connections and discriminations will play an active part in our theoretical and practical work,3 refs. |
