| Abstract: | There are special and general concepts of local documents.In the collection of local documents,we can use a flexible policy,no matter they are special or general.The collection of local documents in public libraries should focus on local historical sources,works of local notable authors,local publications,local revolutionary documents and local A/V materials,by ways of establishing local document collecting organisations and legal deposit system,organising collecting activities,etc.Besides,we can also build special collections of local historical sources and works of notable authors,local documents after 1949,etc. |
