SUMMARY Libraries support a number of instructional programs, including the use of individualized instructional sessions. Research consultations offered by the Mississippi State University Libraries are individualized research sessions designed to meet the information needs of the user or client. Sessions may provide basic information for undergraduates, advanced searching techniques for pre-dissertation graduate students, or serve as an overview of related resources for new faculty. Information concerning the structure and performance expectations for the service is discussed. Data from a year's use of the service are analyzed to identify the client base and to explore successful marketing strategies for the service. 相似文献

本文从研究主题、学术交流、知识基础、期刊四个角度对Morris的研究专业概念进行了操作化定义,并以此提出了研究专业特征的相关假设.统计检验结果表明,作者关键词耦合分析结果中作者类簇具有研究专业的特征,进而证明了基于作者关键词耦合的研究专业识别方法的有效性.尽管本文的研究结论相对保守,但其稳健性还是较高的.由于研究数据样本所限,本文研究结论的普适性仍有局限.在未来研究中本文将通过其他领域的实证研究,进一步对基于作者关键词耦合的研究专业识别方法进行实证与完善. 相似文献

[目的/意义] 从科研实体间的关联关系出发,构建科研实体唯一标识符的关联元数据框架,分析科研实体唯一标识系统的运行及应用机制,为我国开展科研实体唯一标识项目提供建议。[方法/过程] 利用文献调研现有科研实体唯一标识符项目概况及其发展历程,通过网站调研分析各类科研实体唯一标识符的元数据结构以及唯一标识符系统的运行机制;通过对各大数据库系统的使用实践验证该系统科研实体的关联方式与效果。[结果/结论] 构建以实体唯一标识符为节点的关联元数据框架,形成以“ID”为中心的科研实体网络格局。指出科研实体唯一标识符系统应完善页面功能和后台功能、强化数据质量控制、加强应用机制建设;我国相关个人与机构应提高自觉标识的意识,加强科研实体唯一标识系统间的关联,强化科研实体唯一标识符的应用与共享,实现科研实体的一体化标识标注。 相似文献

A persistent problem faced by the speech fundamentals instructor is that of evaluating student performance and assigning a numerical or letter “grade.”; Unlike courses in which the final grade is based upon one or two tests or projects, in the fundamentals course it most often is based on a series of performances, both spoken and written, which occur throughout the duration of the course. This study was designed to examine evaluation procedures in the speech fundamentals programs found in colleges and universities in this country. Although evaluation procedures were the primary focus of the investigation, other factors relating to the general organization and conduct of the beginning speech course also were considered. 相似文献

数据时代档案编研工作产生了一些新特点,顺应时代的短篇系列化编研成果受到关注,电子编研方式新意不断,借助互联网络的档案编研与公众的融合程度日益加深。与此同时,档案编研工作也存在一些亟待解决的问题,诸如编研工作者观念转变不彻底,现有成果影响力不足、传播范围较小,并未充分利用社会力量和科学技术等。数据时代信息技术的发展以及公众档案意识的提升都使得档案编研工作有了更多提升的机会和可能性,档案部门站在新的时代起点上,不断强化开放与协作意识,探求档案编研工作的新理念;激活档案资源的多维价值,提高编研成果的易获取性;运用科学技术创新档案编研方式,增加编研成果的亲民性;注重编研成果的宣传与推广,提升档案编研工作影响力,多管齐下才能推动编研工作的进一步提升。 相似文献
