 企业信息系统必须与其业务活动紧密结合才能获得竞争优势。那么,信息技术在组织中的内化与吸收程度就是信息系统成功、乃至提高企业竞争绩效的关键环节。本文借助企业知识理论来分析组织层面复杂信息系统吸收的驱动因素,探索并归纳涉及到组织内外部的三类跨层次、跨职能的知识整合活动以及影响它们的组织制度环境,从而构建较为完整的信息系统吸收过程模型及相关研究假设。结合问卷调查的实证方法,作者采用结构方程模型来验证理论模型,从而为企业提供更加切实的实践指导与管理建议。  相似文献

将社会责任与企业战略相结合的企业社会战略为价值创造提供了新的理论解释,但其作用机理探讨尚不明确。文章基于战略管理理论及资源基础理论探究了中国情境下企业社会战略对价值创造的影响,揭示了企业社会计划与社会定位对价值创造的内在作用机理;并以有机组织文化为切入点,探索活力文化与宗族文化在价值创造活动中的具体功效。通过对433家企业样本数据的实证分析,结果表明:企业社会计划与社会定位均对价值创造具有显著正向影响;活力文化在社会计划、社会定位与价值创造之间均呈积极调节作用;而宗族文化仅在社会定位与价值创造之间呈积极调节作用。研究结论有助于更深刻地理解社会战略及企业差异性文化在价值创造实现过程中的作用。  相似文献

This paper reviews the application of computer-based information systems for manufacturing, which has found a lack of strategic orientation. Critical factors for a strategic-oriented information system, i.e. external information scanning, data refining and information reporting, are discussed. A strategic-oriented system model that incorporates information scanning-refining-reporting into manufacturing automation and control systems is proposed. A case study of a corporate strategic information processing system in a UK company is explored. Limitations of the study and suggestions for future research are made.  相似文献

Information technology (IT) has transformed business practices in the last several decades: operations, product strategies, distribution, and customer service have become increasingly dependent on IT. Moreover, IT has changed its orientation from that of pure operational utility in the 1960s and 1970s to that of a competitive weapon in the 1990s and today. These phenomena have affected the way modern organizations are managed, as well as the way IT affects the strategic activities of an organization's value-chain.In particular, aligning an organization's business and IT strategies in order to deliver higher business performance presupposes a strategic business opportunity to which information systems technology is integral. In other words, Strategic Alignment between business and IT can have a positive business impact only if we see an organization's IT components as parts of a well-integrated organizational system. If business strategy is viewed separately from IT strategy or IT strategy is viewed only as a “support” tool, then there is little likelihood that the above positive impact of strategic alignment can take place.This research suggests, develops and tests a strategic co-alignment model by examining three types of integration that impact the planning process and the overall performance of information-intensive organizations: technological integration (TI), functional integration and strategic integration (SI).The results of this research yield some useful set of guidelines for theory building for IS, as well as for the business practice aspect of IS: most interesting is the role of consistency (co-alignment) between an organization's business and strategic information systems plans to improve overall firm performance. Other recommendations include having a high degree of involvement of IS executives in corporate planning, the use of outsourcing services to promote organizational systems integration, and the importance of internal coordination mechanisms to facilitate both systems consistency and lower transaction costs. Finally, this study has employed cluster analysis and discriminant analysis to interpret the research findings.  相似文献

Search patterns of documents and information requests are their better or worse representatives only, so it is important to carry on examinations on possibilities of designing self-learning information retrieval systems. Another important question is to elaborate such an organization of document search pattern set as to obtain an acceptable response time of the information system to a given information request.A self-learning process of the proposed information system consists in the determination—on a set of document and information request search patterns—of the similarity relation according to L. A. Zadeh.The organization of a set of document search patterns proposed in the paper ensures the limitation of document search pattern set searching process—when retrieving a response to a given information request—to one (or several) subset from previously determined subsets. This makes the information system response time acceptable. The proposed information retrieval strategy is discussed in terms of fuzzy sets.  相似文献

The management information systems (MIS) literature reveals a list of parameters essential for the successful implementation of an IS planning process. Some studies stress the importance of integrating the corporate objectives of a firm into the IS planning process. Other studies discuss the importance of performing an analysis of competitors, or determining the stage of maturity a firm has reached, or the framework used for setting information technology investment priorities. Yet others state that the choice of methodology that will be utilized to develop the IS plan will be crucial to the success of that plan. The objective of this paper is to develop a holistic conceptual model that combines the above parameters into a framework that fully integrates the corporate objectives of a firm into every aspect of the planning process. Three large multi-national courier companies with regional headquarters in Singapore were studied over an eight-month period while undergoing an extensive MIS planning process. Based on these studies, a model based on general systems theory that views the IS planning process in a holistic framework firmly rooted in the view that a firm's corporate objectives must drive the entire process.  相似文献

本文以创业板公司为研究对象,考察资本市场对企业创新相关信息披露的反应及分析师跟踪的调节效应。研究发现企业创新信息披露能增强投资者的价值认同,分析师跟踪有助于提升市场效率,但有作用条件。具体表现在:分析师跟踪能加强投资者对创新优势信息的认知,但在创新内容信息披露方面只有明星分析师才传递了增量信息,并受投资者信息解读能力的影响。结论表明我国证券分析师是有市场影响力的,但大多数分析师的深度信息挖掘和解读能力有待加强。本文研究拓展了信息披露影响市场效率的途径,增补了分析师作用的经验证据,对企业信息披露决策和资本市场分析师角色识别有一定的启示。  相似文献

What type and amount of computer-related training are available to information system (IS) users? And, how do these relate to their (users) perceptions of the success of the systems used? This paper reports on a study designed to answer such questions. Data were collected from 98 IS users in 16 different departments of 12 organizations. The results indicate that there exist positive associations between various types of computer-related training/educational programmes an organization provides to IS users and the perceived success of IS. Specifically, the availability of a computer resident expert in the organizational functional area of users has the most significant positive relationship with success.  相似文献

Teleconferencing makes possible the communication of persons or groups at two or more different locations. If all participants are present simultaneously, it is classed as synchronous. In contrast, asynchronous teleconferencing offers store-and-forward options, and enables meetings to extend over time. Teleconferencing is viewed within the wider framework of its integration with associated forms of electronic technology, in particular, the ‘Decision Conference’; and consideration is given to the challenge this poses to a firm. Does its successful implementation require major re-structuring of the firm's existing organization? Contemporary information technologies such as social media have invigorated the way knowledge is shared within organizations to the extent that we have to rethink and reassess our understanding of the role and influence of technology in organizational processes and knowledge sharing. This paper uses the strategy as practice lens guided by the interpretivist philosophy to understand the influence of informal social media practices on knowledge sharing and work processes within an organization. The paper uses empirical evidence from the case study of a telecom organization in Tanzania to gain theoretical insight into informal social media practices and knowledge sharing. This research contributes to the Information Systems (IS) literature by asserting that organizational processes are achieved by mundane knowledge sharing mediated by informal social media use within the organization. Also, the study contributes to IS literature by highlighting how emerging informal practices are essential to daily processes within organizations.  相似文献

通过对257家新兴企业中高层管理者和研发人员的调查数据,本文研究了员工信息素养对外部知识效应的影响,重点分析了员工信息素养对外部知识获取与内部创新能力之间关系的调节效应,并运用模糊集定性比较分析(fsQCA)技术探讨了企业规模对员工信息素养的制约效应。结果表明:员工信息素养对技术知识和市场知识的吸收效果均有促进作用;此外,企业规模越大,员工信息素养对技术知识与创新能力之间关系的促进作用越小。本研究结论不仅丰富了员工素养与企业创新等领域的理论空间,同时也为战略性新兴产业企业在开放式创新环境下有效提高员工信息素养、增强外部知识吸收、提升创新能力和创新绩效提供了实践指导。  相似文献

The literature concerning information flow and organizational design for technological innovation is summarized and a conceptual framework of the process of organized technological innovation within the firm is developed. The framework incorporates Rosenbloom's premise that corporate strategy can serve to cut across both internal and external boundaries of the firm and is shown to be consistent with the relevant organizational and planning literatures. The potential for using mathematical models to represent a firm's corporate strategy, budgeting and resource allocation activities is discussed. We argue that such models are needed to provide for policy analysis and could lead to a simulation capability that serves as a surrogate for real-life experimentation.  相似文献

Using the evidence gathered from 22 large firms in the UK since 1990, this paper highlights a radical change in a basic rule of organisational design: “from compromise to harmony”. Most existing organisational designs are based on a series of compromises (for instance, between central control and empowerment, or between spatial separation and process integration). Conventional organisational reforms have tended to change the balance between these compromises, and the improvement of one aspect often happens at the expense of the other. However, some recent evidence suggests that information and communication technologies (ICTs) can be used to resolve such compromises, and an organisation today can become more decentralised with improved central control, for example. This change can have profound implications for the future form of organisations. The paper goes on to argue that organisational redesign through ICTs should be treated explicitly as an emerging field of inquiry, and it will provide the basis for a new generation of organisational theories for the information economy. To fulfil this challenging task, at least three types of research are needed.  相似文献

本文以中国医药制造上市公司九年数据为样本,实证分析了股权结构影响公司战略选择的经济效果。结果表明:在医药制造公司中,实施前向一体化战略对公司绩效没有显著的正面或负面影响,而实施多元化战略对公司绩效存在显著的负面影响,这说明在公司选择扩张投资时,前向一体化战略与多元化战略相比更为理性;同时,股权集中度提高会促进公司实施前向一体化战略,但会制约公司实施多元化战略,这说明当存在大股东且股权集中时,大股东会监督经理使其实施对公司来说更理性的战略。本文的结论是,大股东在影响公司战略选择时,支持效应会大于掏空效应。  相似文献

 定义了信息技术环境下企业组织创新的概念内涵;利用不连续生长曲线、吸引子、吸子盆、匹配图景、分形和非线性发展模式等复杂系统理论与方法探讨了企业组织创新的系统行为及其复杂性。结果表明:(1)信息技术环境下企业组织创新是一项协同性的系统创新,决定系统行为的四个基本变量是组织文化创新、业务流程创新、组织结构创新和信息技术创新;(2)组织文化既是稳定的吸引子,又是不稳定的混沌吸引子;组织文化创新是整个组织创新的先导和保障;(3)通过高绩效的组织创新,处于混沌边缘的组织能够跃迁到一个新的、具有更高复杂性和一致性的动态稳定阶段;(4)在组织系统不连续生长周期的相对稳定阶段和相对不稳定阶段,企业通常分别实施渐进性组织创新和根本性组织创新。  相似文献
