中国近代师范院校开展的图书馆学教育是中国近代图书馆学教育史的重要组成部分。师范院校图书馆学教育大致分为两种形式:一是设立专门的图书馆学系科或专业,二是在其他专业中开设图书馆学课程。回顾中国近代师范院校的图书馆学教育史,钱亚新曾作出过重要贡献。钱亚新从事图书馆学教育工作,主要是在各类师范院校中,不少师范院校的图书馆学课程都是由钱亚新首开。1942年钱亚新发表的《师范学院中的图书馆学》一文,对师范院校图书馆学课程进行了详细规划,该文不仅反映了钱亚新对于师范院校图书馆学教育的认识,而且体现了其在民国时期对于图书馆学教学研究的成就。通过研究近代师范院校图书馆学教育史及钱亚新的图书馆学教育思想,文章提出了三个观点可供当下借鉴:(1)教育职能始终是图书馆的基本职能之一;(2)图书馆学教育要与社会互动;(3)教育史视角是研究民国图书馆史的重要切入点。 相似文献

The success of Marabel Morgan's Total Woman indicate its rhetorical effectiveness despite its substantive flaws. This article argues that the book's strong appeal to readers stems from: (1) its promise of fulfillment if woman expiate the guilt they bear for marital discord by self sacrifice; (2) its reinforcement of readers perceptions of themselves and their husbands; and (3) its emphasis on the power of “Total Women”; and its encouragement of sexual fantasy and play. These strategies produce a persuasive message which plays on readers’ concerns for their marriages, offers an alternative to the self consciousness urged by feminists and permits women to fulfill comfortable stereotypes yet experience the power and sexual freedom promised by liberationists. For readers with troubled marriages Morgan provides an alluringly simple, emotionally attractive answer to complex questions. Her message is rhetorically effective even if intellectually weak and psychologically misleading. 相似文献

In contrast with critics who interpret The Matrix by focusing primarily on either the film's dazzling visual effects or on its more fragmented “second coming” narrative, we work within the tension between the two. As a myth, the film updates an ancient initiation ritual in which the hero matures into a character capable of freeing humanity from its technological mirror image, represented here as a false mother. As a spectacle, however, the typically beneficial influence of feminine eroticism is displaced from women into the special effects, thereby diluting the impact of the narrative. The Matrix is, we believe, caught in this tension just as postmodern humanity is caught between its attraction to and its repulsion from its own technological extensions. 相似文献

ABSTRACT This paper analyzes a locally bound and hybridized form of civic engagement through digital media. Based on an explorative case study of a Slovak Facebook page called Zomri, engaged mostly in both mockery and denunciation of societal and political actors, the paper aims to challenge existing conceptual definitions of social media-based civic engagements, pointing to its hybridization. Through in-depth interviews with its founders and a survey of its supporters, we position the group and its activities through three separate lenses (trolling, digital vigilantism, and citizen journalism) that constitute an emergent category of dynamic and politically influential civic society actor. 相似文献

publisher’s size has on its Twitter adoption, patterns of use and the content of its Tweets. Overall, the results suggest
that a publisher’s size primarily affects its general Twitter use, while being less influential regarding its patterns of

This paper discusses the contribution of the 2003 ‘Declaration on the Importance and Value of Universal Museums’ to the debate on repatriation. The ‘Universalist’ approach taken by the Declaration is first considered, noting the implications of its emphasis on art, the heritage of museums and objects, along with its focus on the sculpture of ancient Greece and the enlightenment origin of museums such as the British Museum. It is argued that it reveals an essentialist approach that derives from a particular Western perspective, rather than being truly ‘universal’, and then considers whether a similar problem underlies many of the arguments advocating repatriation. The second part of the paper explores the opportunities offered by an approach which emphasises the ‘biography of objects’. This demonstrates how the tangled histories of objects and their many meanings can be considered. Repatriation is shown to be able to result in an increase in knowledge and understanding, rather than its destruction, and so meets the declared aim of the Declaration to ‘foster knowledge by a continuous process of reinterpretation’. 相似文献
