随着社会的不断发展，我国已进入科技发展的新时代，当前，我国多数地区的公共图书馆已配备电子阅览室，此类阅览室大大方便了人们的阅读进程，其以互联网为基础可快速获取图书信息，相比传统的纸质图书具有更环保、更高效的优势，但同时的缺点之一便是在未成年读者年龄较小、自制力较差的情况下，因图书馆电子阅览室联网而引发的诸多难以解决的问题。基于此，本文总结了我国基层公共图书馆电子阅览室中对未成年人管理存在的问题，如缺乏未成年人管理意识、网瘾问题严重、管理人员工作能力不强，以及当前网络信息良莠不齐等，并结合具体实际情况针对性地提出相关管理策略，旨在为未成年人阅读提供良好环境，为其树立正确的世界观、人生观与价值观。 相似文献

ABSTRACTDigital platforms have become central to twenty-first century education, culture, and government, and libraries devote an increasing proportion of budgets to acquisitions of e-resources. This research reports on a recent project that investigated Australian teenagers’ use of traditional print and digital platforms for long-form recreational reading. Specifically, it investigates whether digital devices are a preferred modality for Australian adolescents’ recreational reading and if access to digital devices with e-reading capabilities, such as tablets, smartphones, e-readers, and laptop or desktop computers, is associated with more reading engagement by avid and reluctant readers. The research, based on a diverse sample of urban and regional participants from two states, suggests that Australian adolescents’ preferences for e-books have been largely overestimated. Media rating systems have been introduced in many countries to protect minors from being exposed to harmful media content. This study examines whether retailers comply with the guidelines of media ratings in the Netherlands. In a mystery shopping study, minors tried to buy or rent media products for which they were too young. An overall success rate of 86% shows that compliance on the shop floor is problematic. In a mystery call study, parents asked vendors for advice about media ratings. Only 33% of the parents were advised in accordance with the age classifications. A survey of vendors investigated the determinants of compliance. Personal acceptance, awareness of a legal basis, and perceived surveillance proved to be important determinants of self-reported compliance. 相似文献

Library’s success with e-books and other forms of popular e-content and our efforts to stay one step ahead of the consumer
shift from print reading to e-reading. Consumer e-reading is dominated by Amazon.com in the US, followed by one of the largest
chain bookstores, BarnesandNoble.com. The availability of digital versions of very popular titles, coupled with the explosion
of e-readers, tablets, and smartphones that are priced competitively and fairly easy to use, are helping move a lot of Americans
into the e-book world. Last month, Amazon.com announced they sold more e-books than physical books for the first time ever.
Print books are not going away, but our experience is that it is clear e-books are no longer just an extra format to offer,

The objective of this paper is to investigate the impact of the COVID-19-related changes to educational delivery on students' academic reading format preferences and behaviors. Pre-pandemic studies showed that students preferred print when needing to engage in academic texts for their coursework, and that under certain circumstances, students learned better when using print texts. During the pandemic however, many institutions implemented a sudden shift to remote learning and electronic readings. We questioned whether students would adjust their learning strategies to accommodate the abrupt change, and whether the increased experience with e-formats would boost their favorable attitudes towards digital reading. This study's data from students at a North American university does not support this hypothesis. While some respondents did report improved attitudes towards e-reading during COVID, most attitudes were less favorable or reflected no change. Nearly half the respondents stated that they highlighted and annotated their readings less than they did before, and over a third said they completed their assigned readings less frequently. Negative feelings may reflect a new trend in attitudes or they may be a temporary outcome of general screen fatigue. The findings reinforce the importance of providing print format options for students during this time. 相似文献
