[目的/意义]为弥补线上或线下单程授课模式的不足,引入Blackboard平台进行混合教学探索,以期为图书馆界信息素养教学模式提供更好的选择,促进学生综合素养的提升。[方法/过程]在信息素养授课中引入Blackboard课程管理平台,结合线下小规模授课模式(SPOC)进行教学;课程效果评价方法采用量化对比评价和课后质性访谈评价。[结果/结论]通过对比研究发现基于Blackboard平台采用混合学习模式对学生开展信息素养教育效果显著好于传统授课模式(P=0.000*,<0.05),质性评价中学生在课程参与度、师生互动等方面有效提升。  相似文献

校园学习管理信息化平台的设计和开发是基于VC++环境下开发的,本文主要介绍该平台的系统组成、功能以及系统研发中的关键技术。该平台包括图书馆、教学楼和大学生活动中心的信息管理。通过该平台,学生可以有效使用学校有限学习资源,管理者及时了解每位学生的学习状况。本平台是采用链表技术对用户信息的管理,它的特点是使用结点(node)存储每个用户信息数据、可建立用户信息的关联,便于查找和管理用户信息。实践表明该系统能大大地提高校园学习资源的使用效率及管理人员的工作效率。  相似文献

文章选取国内高校图书馆微信公众平台的36位用户访谈资料,运用扎根理论研究法识别高校图书馆微信公众平台用户满意度影响因素并构建假设模型,根据假设模型设计微信公众平台用户满意度影响因素调查问卷,借助spss25.0对问卷结果进行实证分析,分析表明资源检索与利用是影响用户满意度的资源因素,信息推送、个人业务和用户互动是影响用户满意度的服务因素,界面设计和平台性能是影响用户满意度的功能因素。建议高校图书馆以满足用户需求为导向,从提升平台服务质量、丰富平台资源和优化平台功能三方面提高用户满意度。  相似文献

SUMMARY

In 2004, the Binghamton University Libraries created a task force to explore the possibility of providing access to electronic reserves through the newly available Blackboard Content System?. The Content System is used to collect, manage, and publish content in Blackboard. The task force used a psychology course to pilot the Content System for reserve material after the class professor assigned “Course Builder” privileges to the reserves staff.

Preliminary findings of the pilot study suggest that using Blackboard for course reserves allows library resources to be better integrated into academic course work. The task force plans to continue their investigation into using Blackboard for course reserves. Challenges that need to be addressed in this investigation include the issue of requiring Course Builder privileges for each course, gathering and managing statistics, and the management of documents saved in the Content System.  相似文献

To design a new distance education course with an emphasis on student group work, a collaborative effort among the University of Missouri St. Louis Libraries and faculty was established. The collaborative process resulted in a more individualized service experience for library users, and the problems of course construction, using the Blackboard course management system, were shared and solved with new efficiency. The goals of the institution and individuals involved were initially successful and have expanded into a larger effort of developing new resources and collaborative efforts throughout the campus. New methods, new technologies, and new roles and responsibilities for faculty and librarians are described. As librarians assume online “course librarian” positions, significant responsibilities can be shifted to their support, and new resources can be made available to students with considerable ease—particularly via library electronic resources, databases, and electronic communication.  相似文献

Blogs and wikis are examples of Web 2.0 technology that facilitate collaboration in the online world. In the health sciences, the emergence of these social tools potentially increases the risk of generating harmful or biased information. Therefore, it is the health professional's responsibility to have the skills to critically appraise Web content that has not undergone traditional peer review. This was the focus in a three-credit graduate Urban Public Health course taught by a librarian and was addressed with assignments using blog and wiki technology within the course management tool Blackboard. To improve the efficiency of Ryan-Matura Library's electronic reserve (e-reserve) service, the staff of the library and the Office of Instructional Technology at Sacred Heart University codeveloped and implemented a system that streamlined the request and delivery of e-reserves for faculty and students. Academic libraries have long been trying to gain access to users through their favorite online spaces, such as social networking sites. In this article a project of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro's University Libraries, which integrated library resources with the campus course management system, Blackboard, is detailed. The main objective was to push the best resources to students based on their actual needs. For years, static HTML Web pages were created, but the proliferation of these pages required tremendous maintenance. In addition it is not certain that students are able to access the most relevant resources buried deep in the Web site. Because of these challenges, the Course Resources Tool and the Library Resources Portal were created to provide high levels of customization based on information that was gathered from users as they log into Blackboard. The tools have been customized so that subject specialist liaisons can integrate library resources at the major, department, course, and course section levels. Despite some difficulties in launching and promoting these projects, there has been positive feedback. There was also an increase in usage statistics that rivals the use of the library's main Web site. This article describes the tools, documents the difficulties with each phase of the project, and discusses the lessons learned. Also, a brief overview of possible expansions of the Blackboard Course Resources Tool and the Library Resources Portal is provided.  相似文献

Librarians at the University of Central Missouri were invited to provide research assistance for an online history course delivered through the Blackboard course management system. In consultation with the course instructor, it was decided that we would serve as “embedded librarians,” offering online tutorials on library resources and providing research assistance to students as they worked on a short research paper assignment. Our experiences with the course instructor and with students have provided us with some clear insights into the particular challenges that librarians face in an online course environment.  相似文献

The circulation staff at Staley Library, Millikin University, in Decatur, Illinois, experimented with using Blackboard courseware to train student employees. Staff and students' feedback offer additional ways to utilize Blackboard's features. Some promising applications for training and communicating with student employees are described. For the last 10 years, much progress in higher education, as well as information access has been made. But one of the serious problems is that many users of academic and research libraries are unaware of the importance of scientific and technical information, and lack essential knowledge and skills to locate materials. Therefore, development of library user education has been emphasized and supported by the government in China. For the future users the Ministry of Education has required college and university libraries to develop courses of bibliographic instruction, and has sponsored symposiums for exchange experiences among the university and college libraries. So far, the courses of bibliographic instructions have been established in more than half of the universities and colleges in China.However, for the large numbers of students waiting to obtain user education training, both facilities and instructors are inadequate. It is necessary for schools of library science in China to develop professional course work for the education of instructors in library user education.  相似文献
