Political speech plays an extremely important role in the political interaction between countries.Therefore,the translations of political speeches should be paid a great attention to,which is helpful to avoid conflicts and improve further interaction in other fields.Although there are books and researches on English political speeches,limitations do exist.No discussion is carried out on translation from the stylistic features of political speeches.Therefore,the author first analyzes the features of EPS in recent years and then tries to explore the effective translation methods. 相似文献

Background:Xu Yuanchong,one of the most eminent translators of Chinese poetry in English rhyme,adhered to the metrical translation which emphasizes transferring the rhyme of the original poem into the translation of target language.But it has limitations.Meth ods:This essay was conducted in qualitative research method.It identified and reflected on some negative impacts caused by improper met rical translation and summarized the factors which confine it from the aspect of phonology,semantics and syntax.It tried to figure out the limitations of the metrical translation through examples by analyzing the linguistic features of the language and imagery effect of the translat ed poetries.Result:Another translation methods was introduced-free/blank verse translation to solve the deficiencies lied in the metrical translation. 相似文献

Back translation is a common technique to assess the accuracy of translation.The aim of the paper is to check the appropriateness of back translation for movie subtitling purposes.To achieve this aim,some Chinese sentences with problems in their translations were randomly selected from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone to be tested through back translation technique.An analysis the versions of the sentences proved that back translation is an appropriate technique for translating movie subtitles. 相似文献
