Synchronous data transmission systems that transmit information over dispersive channels often employ adaptive equalization techniques in the processing of the received signals. Most equalizers presently used in communication systems are of the tapped delay line (TDL) type. In this paper, we propose a class of adaptive equalizers of which the TDL equalizer is a member. Another interesting member of this class is the Laguerre adaptive equalizer which is to be introduced in this paper. The configuration of the Laguerre equalizer is developed. It is found, as shown by the examples, that the Laguerre equalizer is more accurate, and is less sensitive to timing error than the conventional TDL equalizer.  相似文献

为了预估相控阵雷达各部件的非理想性对反演天线口径幅相分布的影响 ,分析了相控阵天线移相器插损和移相误差、接收机噪声、接收机非线性和测相误差、A/D变换位数等对时序 Walsh- Hadamard相位权重反演天线口径幅相分布的影响。理论分析表明 ,Walsh- Hadamard变换对相控阵雷达的天线和接收机的误差和噪声有一定程度的平滑和抑制作用。在此基础上 ,以实际使用为背景 ,对各个环节的误差提出了要求。这些要求一般的雷达以及目前的技术都能够达到 ,因而系统的实现是可行的。  相似文献

A digital signal processor (DSP)-based complementary sliding mode control (CSMC) with Sugeno type fuzzy neural network (SFNN) compensator is proposed in this study for the synchronous control of a dual linear motors servo system installed in a gantry position stage. The dual linear motors servo system comprises two parallel permanent magnet linear synchronous motors (PMLSMs). The dynamics of the single-axis motion system with a lumped uncertainty which contains parameter variations, external disturbances and nonlinear friction force is briefly introduced first. Then, a CSMC is designed to guarantee the precision position tracking requirement in single-axis control for the dual linear motors. Moreover, to enhance the robustness to uncertainties and to eliminate the synchronous error of dual linear motors, the CSMC with a SFNN compensator is proposed where the SFNN compensator is designed mainly to compensate the synchronous error. Furthermore, to increase the control performance of the proposed intelligent control approach, a 32-bit floating-point DSP, TMS320VC33, is adopted for the implementation of the proposed CSMC and SFNN. In addition, some experimental results are illustrated to show the validity of the proposed control approach.  相似文献

Robust fault detection for a class of nonlinear time-delay systems   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
In this paper, the robust fault detection filter (RFDF) design problems are studied for nonlinear time-delay systems with unknown inputs. Firstly, a reference residual model is introduced to formulate the robust fault detection filter design problem as an H model-matching problem. Then appropriate input/output selection matrices are introduced to extend a performance index to the time-delay systems in time domain. The reference residual model designed according to the performance index is an optimal residual generator, which takes into account the robustness against disturbances and sensitivity to faults simultaneously. Applying robust H optimization control technique, the existence conditions of the robust fault detection filter for nonlinear time-delay systems with unknown inputs are presented in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI) formulation, independently of time delay. An illustrative design example is used to demonstrate the validity and applicability of the proposed approach.  相似文献

This paper presents a new implementation of discrete multi-tone (DMT) systems based on different discrete transforms that include the discrete sine transform (DST), discrete cosine transform (DCT), and discrete wavelet transform (DWT). The implementation also considers time-domain equalization to mitigate channel distortion. Compared to the fast Fourier transform discrete multi-tone (FFT-DMT) system, the proposed implementations have an advantage in that their energy-compaction property helps in reducing the channel effects. The performance of the DST-DMT, DCT-DMT, DWT-DMT, and FFT-DMT systems, employing a time-domain equalizer (TEQ), is investigated in the paper. It has been demonstrated by computer simulations that the proposed implementations outperform the FFT-DMT system and that the utilization of the TEQ can lead to higher bit rates  相似文献

Constrained minimization problems considered in this paper arise in the design of beamformers for radar, sonar, and wireless communications, and in the design of precoders and equalizers for digital communications. The problem is to minimize a quadratic form under a set of linear or quadratic constraints. We present solutions to these problems and establish a connection between them. A majorization result for matrix trace and Poincare's separation theorem play key roles in establishing the connection. We show that our solutions can be formulated as generalized sidelobe cancellers (GSCs), which tie our constrained minimizations to linear minimum mean-squared error (LMMSE) estimations. We then express our solutions in terms of oblique projection matrices and establish the geometry of our constrained minimizations.  相似文献

This paper studies the trade-off performance between tracking performance and control input energy of the multi-input multi-output(MIMO), linear and time-invariant(LTI) system over an additive coloured Gaussian noise(ACGN) channel and the encoder-decoder strategies. The restriction that filter in the encoder-decoder strategy must be diagonal matrix is not necessary. And some new results are derived according to the inner-outer factorization. The results show that the trade-off performance is correlated to the unstable pole, non-minimum phase zero of the system. Also new poles and zeros generated by the non-diagonal encoder-decoder strategies may affect the trade-off performance. At last, two examples with different filters and different encoder-decoder strategies are discussed to validate the conclusions. The various encoder-decoder strategies revealed by the simulations may enhance or deteriorate the trade-off performance proposed in this paper.  相似文献

Multi-sensor data fusion over one channel is studied in this paper. The communication constraint considered here is medium access constraint. When the synchronous time division multiplexing (STDM) mechanism is used to address this problem, collective delay emerges. Collective delay time depends upon the channel capacity and traffic flow assigned to the communication channel, causing contradiction between traffic flow and delay time (the number of transmitted sensors and delay steps). A new model is developed that can truly reflect this contradiction by introducing a stochastic process θθ. Based on the obtained system model, the optimal data fusion filter is designed. It also gives the upper bounds of the expected estimation error covariance and estimation error covariance with one-step delay. Two illustrative examples are given in the last section to show the influence of θθ on estimation performance.  相似文献

Accurate and effective state estimation is essential for nonlinear fractional system, since it can provide some vital operation information about the system. However, inevitably missing measurements and additive uncertainty in the gain will affect the performance of estimation result. Thus, in this paper, in order to deal with these problems, a novel robust extended fractional Kalman filter (REFKF) is developed for states estimation of nonlinear fractional system, by which the states can be estimated accurately even with missing measurements. Finally, simulation results are provided to demonstrate that the proposed method can achieve much better estimation performance than the conventional extended fractional Kalman filter (EFKF).  相似文献

This paper proposes a new wave digital filter derived from doubly terminated LC-ladder networks by replacing each series or shunt arm element of the ladder by its equivalent digital two-port. It is shown that such two-ports may be cascaded without the use of adapters defined by Fettweis (1). A number of realizations of the wave digital two-ports, which are canonic with respect to both multipliers and delays, have been obtained. Also a realization which is canonic with respect to multipliers only is given and an example considered using this realization. The sensitivity of this filter with respect to the multiplier coefficient changes due to finite word length is compared with the conventional cascaded digital filter and also the one proposed by Renner and Gupta. It is found that the proposed filter appears to be a more desirable form of implementation than the conventional cascade form and comparable to that of Renner and Gupta (2).  相似文献

The Franklin Institute, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, awarded the Benjamin Franklin Medal in Engineering to Bernard Widrow, Professor of Electrical Engineering at Stanford University, for pioneering work in adaptive signal processing. Adaptive systems have the ability to learn and improve their behavior through interaction with their environments. Dr. Widrow developed the least mean squared (LMS) algorithm, which is a computationally facile means of finding the optimal weight vector for suppressing unknown noise. For example, every high-speed modem contains an adaptive filter or automatic equalizer based on the Widrow-Hoff LMS algorithm. Such a telephone channel equalizer makes it possible for computers to communicate at high speed (such as for the internet) over regular telephone lines, which were never intended for this purpose. Dr. Widrow was amongst the first to publish a general theory of adaptive antennas, including space-time processing. His adaptive learning algorithms made artificial neural networks possible. A recursive nonlinear filter and tracking methodology is developed here for a class of partially observable processes. The method is based on an approximation of a nonlinear system by a system which is linear in the unobservable states and has the unobservables conditionally Gaussian with respect to the observations initially. Model smoothness, such as required with most approximating filters is not required here, and applications to simulated tracking problems show the filter to be considerably more accurate than the modified second-order filter which in general sense includes the extended Kalman filter.  相似文献

This paper studies linear time-invariant systems with an input delay and two repeated or distinct real poles. The closed-loop system eigenvalue-loci with respect to the output feedback controller gain are investigated by using the Lambert function and root-locus construction techniques. Output feedback stabilization conditions and stability robustness with respect to the delay time uncertainty are established. Also, the response performance is discussed. The influence of stator slotting on the synchronous performance of a hysteresis machine is analyzed on the basis of a rectified model of its structure. The stator block holding the windings in equally spaced slots is replaced by a fictitious block of iron with finite permeability whose value is defined in two relevant directions, namely, the longitudinal and the radial. This set-up has a definite influence on the writing of the boundary conditions for the fields in the machine and consequently on machine behaviour. On the basis of the presented results, an optimization procedure can be attempted for achieving the best performance.  相似文献

This paper addresses the problem of encircling and tracking a moving target with a fleet of unicycle-like vehicles. A new control law is developed to steer the vehicles to an evenly spaced formation along a circumference, the center of which tracks the motion of the target. The strategy proposed relies only on the relative positions of the agents with respect to the target, expressed in the local frame of each vehicle. The absolute position, velocity and acceleration of the target are unknown. Additionally, the robustness of the proposed control law in the presence of external disturbances is analyzed. Communication among agents is used to maintain the vehicles equally spaced in the circular formation. Simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed strategies.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with a security problem about malicious integrity attacks in state estimation system, in which multiple smart sensors locally measure information and transmit it to a remote fusion estimator though wireless channels. A joint constraint is considered for the attacker behaviour in each channel to keep stealthiness under a residual-based detector on the remote side. In order to degrade the estimator performance, the attacker will maximize the trace of the remote state estimation error covariance which is derived based on Kalman filter theory. It is proved that the optimal linear attack strategy design problem is convex and finally turned into a semi-definite programming problem. In addition, the tendency of attack behaviour on recursive and fixed Kalman filter system is analyzed. Several examples are given to illustrate the theoretical results.  相似文献

In this paper a tuning procedure is proposed for event based PI controllers with Regular Quantization with Hysteresis (RQH) sampling law. The RQH is a generalization of Symmetric Send on Delta (SSOD) strategy which decreases the robustness requirements to avoid limit cycle oscillations and reduce the number of events needed for control, improving the overall performance of PI controllers in networked control systems. The tuning procedure takes into account not only classical robustness margins but also takes advantage of some specific robustness measures to avoid limit cycle oscillations induced by the sampler. As the robustness analysis depends on the Describing Function (DF) method, a study evaluating the effect of high order harmonics is provided, showing the validity of the tuning procedure. Some examples are included in which the usefulness of the tuning procedure is shown.  相似文献

The synchronous control of a class of disturbed chaotic Lurie systems is probed in. The conception of Lr-synchronization of drive-respond systems is presented. Via Lyapunov function analysis and comparison principle, Lr synchronous controller of the drive-respond systems under perturbation is given and its robustness is also discussed. Barbalat lemma is further used to derive the adaptively synchronous controller for the unknown disturbance situation and the globally asymptotical synchronization is realized. All designed controllers are verified by the simulations and the given controllers are linear, which are convenient and can produce rapid convergence speed of the error systems.  相似文献

In this paper we study a multi-channel network, each station of which is equipped with a network interface that has a receiver buffer of multiple packets. In this way, each station is able to receive multiple packets per time instant. We adopt a synchronous access protocol which is affected by the collisions over the multiple channels and the destination conflicts. The proposed protocol performance crucially depends on the size of the receiver buffer since it determines the packet rejection probability at destination. An analytical probabilistic model based on a Markovian process is adopted for the performance measures derivation by means of closed mathematical formulas. The proposed protocol is compared to relative ones that either totally ignore the receiver collisions or assume a receiver buffer of a single packet capacity. The numerical results show that the increase of the receiver buffer size improves the performance decisively, resulting in higher throughput and lower delay and rejection probability. Also, it is shown that the appropriate receiver buffer size per station in order for the rejections at destination to be effectively eliminated is not unlimited but is limited to three packets for 0.1% accepted maximum level of rejection probability.  相似文献
