This article aims at investigating the event-triggered (ET) distributed estimation problem for asynchronous sensor networks with randomly occurred unreliable measurements. We propose two ET mechanisms to schedule data transmissions in this paper. One ET mechanism based on dual-criterion is proposed to schedule the transmissions of measurements and avoid the interferences from unreliable measurements. The other ET mechanism is proposed to schedule the transmissions of local estimates. The connotative information in aforementioned ET mechanisms is exploited for taking full use of available information. Then, we provide the corresponding event-triggered asynchronous diffusion estimator based on the diffusion filtering scheme. In the proposed method, a sensor first generates a local estimate by utilizing available information of asynchronous measurements in each estimation period. Then it fuses available information of asynchronous local estimates to generate a fused estimate. Results of simulations in different cases and experiment in an optical-electronic detection network verify the validity and feasibility of the proposed method.  相似文献

This study considers merging dynamical networks (relative sensing networks in this paper) in terms of a stability margin criterion. The main motivation of this consideration is that merging can cause a significant drop in the stability margin of merged network with respect to the original networks initially with ample stability margins. In this paper, various types of network merging (i.e. undirected/directed homogeneous/heterogeneous dynamical network merging via one-way/two-way links) are analysed to show their effects on the stability margin. In particular, it is shown that (1) merging with one-way links yields the stability margin less than the original networks’; (2) merging undirected homogeneous networks with two-way links results in a stability margin being at least a quantity solely characterized by the positive realness (PRness) of SISO (Single-Input-Single-Output) local dynamics; (3) the quantity depends both on the PRness of SISO local dynamics and the eigenvalues of Laplacian matrix, in case of merging directed homogeneous networks with two-way links; (4) two-way merging using multiple nodes may allow for a large increase in the stability margin; and (5) merging heterogeneous networks may be simply treated as merging homogeneous networks by exploiting the design of link dynamics. Several numerical results are presented to show their consistency with the performed analysis.  相似文献

We consider a remote state estimation process under an active eavesdropper for cyber-physical system. A smart sensor transmits its local state estimates to a remote estimator over an unreliable network, which is eavesdropped by an adversary. The intelligent adversary can work in passive eavesdropping mode and active jamming mode. An active jamming mode enables the adversary to interfere the data transmission from sensor to estimator, and meanwhile improve the data reception of itself. To protect the transmission data from being wiretapped, the sensor with two antennas injects noise to the eavesdropping link with different power levels. Aiming at minimizing the estimation error covariance and power cost of themselves while maximizing the estimation error covariance of their opponents, a two-player nonzero-sum game is constructed for sensor and active eavesdropper. For an open-loop case, the mixed Nash equilibrium is obtained by solving an one-stage nonzero-sum game. For a long term consideration, a Markov stochastic game is introduced and a Nash Q-learning method is given to find the Nash equilibrium strategies for two players. Numerical results are provided to show the effectiveness of our theoretical conclusions.  相似文献

Higher-order statistics (HOS) are well known for their robustness to additive Gaussian noise and ability to preserve phase. HOS estimates, on the other hand, have been criticized for high complexity and the need for long data in order to maintain small variance. Since rank reduction offers a general principle for reduction of estimator variance and complexity, we consider the problem of designing low-rank estimators for HOS. We propose three methods for choosing the transformation matrix that reduces the mean-square error (MSE) associated with the low-rank HOS estimates. We also demonstrate the advantages of using low-rank third-order moment estimates for blind system estimation. Results indicate that the full rank MSE corresponding to some data length N can be attained by a low-rank estimator corresponding to a length significantly smaller than N.  相似文献

A novel interval observer filtering-based fault diagnosis method for linear discrete-time systems with dual uncertainties is proposed to detect actuator faults. The idea of minimization is adopted to design a fault-free state estimator by merging unknown but bounded and Gaussian disturbances and noises according to the signal average power principle. Using a fault-free state interval and measurement residual of the system, a fault detection indicator is designed based on the residual probability ratio, to achieve dynamic fault detection, isolation and identification. Finally, various simulation examples are provided to demonstrate the accuracy and effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

For the linear statistical model y = Xb + e, X of full column rank estimates of b of the form (C + X′X)+X′y are studied, where C commutes with X′X and Q+ is the Moore-Penrose inverse of Q. Such estimators may have smaller mean square error, component by component than does the least squares estimator. It is shown that this class of estimators is equivalent to two apparently different classes considered by other authors. It is also shown that there is no C such that (C + XX)+XY = My, in which My has the smallest mean square error, component by component. Two criteria, other than tmse, are suggested for selecting C. Each leads to an estimator independent of the unknown b and σ2. Subsequently, comparisons are made between estimators in which the C matrices are functions of a parameter k. Finally, it is shown for the no intercept model that standardizing, using a biased estimate for the transformed parameter vector, and retransforming to the original units yields an estimator with larger tmse than the least squares estimator.  相似文献

This paper proposes a design framework of sensor communication by using the stochastic event triggers, which aims at best saving the communication resources. The system to be considered is as follows: a sensor takes measurements of the states of a dynamic process and sends the information to a remote estimator, and the estimator computes the state estimates for the dynamic process. To save communication resources, a set of stochastic event triggers on the measurements are assigned to the sensor. At each sampled time, when no trigger is triggered, the sensor sends nothing to the estimator; when one of them is triggered, the sensor sends the identity code of the corresponding trigger. It is shown that once the estimator receives the identity of the trigger, it is equivalent for the estimator to receiving a measurement from a certain virtual sensor. Based on it, the system performance under the proposed communication is analyzed, and the design of specific models is considered. Examples are presented to demonstrate the proposed communication design.  相似文献

This paper investigates the robustness, uniqueness, sufficient condition and the necessary condition for the minimum error entropy (MEE) estimation. For the robustness aspect, we show that the MEE estimator for a Gaussian nominal model is robust with respect to a relative entropy mismodeling criterion as well as the minimum mean-square error (MMSE) estimations. For the uniqueness aspect, we demonstrate by means of examples that for the singular case, the optimum solution of the MEE estimation will be nonunique. For the sufficient and the necessary condition, the former is established by the independence condition, and the later by score orthogonality condition. A specific example illustrates that the score orthogonality condition is just a necessary condition and not a sufficient one, because if an estimator satisfies the score orthogonality condition, it may be a local minimum or even a local maximum of the error entropy in a certain direction.  相似文献

This paper proposes a learning approach for the merging process in multilingual information retrieval (MLIR). To conduct the learning approach, we present a number of features that may influence the MLIR merging process. These features are mainly extracted from three levels: query, document, and translation. After the feature extraction, we then use the FRank ranking algorithm to construct a merge model. To the best of our knowledge, this practice is the first attempt to use a learning-based ranking algorithm to construct a merge model for MLIR merging. In our experiments, three test collections for the task of crosslingual information retrieval (CLIR) in NTCIR3, 4, and 5 are employed to assess the performance of our proposed method. Moreover, several merging methods are also carried out for a comparison, including traditional merging methods, the 2-step merging strategy, and the merging method based on logistic regression. The experimental results show that our proposed method can significantly improve merging quality on two different types of datasets. In addition to the effectiveness, through the merge model generated by FRank, our method can further identify key factors that influence the merging process. This information might provide us more insight and understanding into MLIR merging.  相似文献

This paper reports a technique for temperature-induced merging of droplets in a microchannel. The multiphase system consists of water droplet and oil as the dispersed phase and the carrying continuous phase. A resistive heater provides heating in a rectangular merging chamber. The temperature of the chamber is controlled by the voltage applied to the heater. The merging process of two neighboring droplets was investigated with different applied voltage, flow rate ratio between water and oil and total flowrate. Merging is found to be effective at high flow rate ratio, high temperature, and low total flowrate. The presented technique could be used for merging and mixing in droplet-based lab-on-a-chip platforms.  相似文献

This paper studies the bipartite consensus tracking (BCT) problem of the networked Lagrangian system (NLS) with intermittent interactions, in which the interaction among the individuals is on in the interactive time intervals and is off in the un-interactive ones. Besides, different from the existing works, where the dynamics of the system is linear or nonlinear, we consider the Lagrangian system in this paper with dynamical characteristics: high nonlinearity and coupling. In such case, a hierarchical intermittent-interactions-based control (HIIC) algorithm, including the distributed intermittent estimator and local control algorithm, is designed to achieve the above-mentioned control goal. Specifically, the distributed intermittent estimator is constructed to estimate the information of the leader for each individual. The local control algorithm is designed based on the derived estimators to address the BCT problem finally. Furthermore, the sufficient conditions for ensuring the stability of the closed-loop system are derived through systematic Lyapunov stability analysis. Finally, some numerical simulations on the networked manipulators are performed to prove the validity of the proposed HIIC algorithm.  相似文献

In this paper, a hierarchical estimator combined with the nonlinear observer and particle filter (PF) is proposed to accurately estimate the vehicle state and tire forces of distributed in-wheel motor drive electric vehicles (DIMDEVs) when the traditional tire models are not available. The proposed estimator consists of lower and upper layers. The lower layer, i.e. longitudinal tire force nonlinear observer (LTFNO) aims at estimating the longitudinal force based on the available drive/brake torques and rotational speed of wheels. The convergence of LTFNO is proved by the invariant set principle. The upper layer receives these estimated longitudinal tire forces from LTFNO and estimates the vehicle state including lateral tire forces based on an expert model (EM). The designed EM utilizes basic knowledge and rules about tire characteristics to approximate the unknown lateral tire force. The upper estimator combines with EM (EEM) to further improve the accuracy. The EEM takes the modeling errors and disturbances into account and avoids the usage of complex established tire models. Then PF is applied in the upper layer to complete the estimation, which only needs measurable longitudinal/lateral accelerations and yaw rate signals. Finally, the effectiveness of the designed hierarchical estimator is verified by Carsim and Simulink co-simulations. The results show the proposed strategy can accurately estimate the vehicle state and tire forces in real-time.  相似文献

This paper deals with the pole-placement-type robust adaptive control of continuous linear systems in the presence of bounded noise and a common class of unmodeled dynamics provided that two estimation schemes are used in parallel. Both estimation schemes are introduced in order to minimize the plant identification error by selecting, as plant parameter estimates, a convex combination of both parameter estimates which leads to the selection of one of the estimation schemes, via a switching rule, on time intervals of at least a minimum prefixed residence duration. The weights of the individual parameter vector estimates are provided at each time by an optimization or suboptimization scheme for a quadratic loss function of the possibly filtered tracking error and/or control input. The robust stability of the overall adaptive scheme is ensured by an adaptation relative dead zone which takes into account the contribution of the unmodeled dynamics and bounded noise. The basic results are derived for two different estimation strategies which have either a shared regressor with the plant or individual regressors for the input contribution and its contributed derivatives. In this second case, the plant input is obtained from a similar convex combination rule as the one used for the estimators in the first approach. An extension of the basic strategies is also pointed out including a combined use of the (sub) optimization scheme with a supervisor of past measures for the on-line calculation of the estimator weights in the convex combination. Finally, the extension of the scheme for the use of any number of parametrical estimators is focused on.  相似文献

In this paper, a semantic categorization method in generic home photos is proposed. In recent years, the semantic categorization of image has been a challenge due to the proliferation of digital home photos. Our approach is to detect semantically meaningful concepts contained in a photo. The proposed method incorporates an intermediate level of concepts, called local concept, so that it catches well semantic meaning of local regions of image as bridging the semantic gap of the low-level features and high-level category concepts. To detect the local concepts from the home photo, region segmentation by photographic region template and concept merging is also proposed. The efficacy of the proposed semantic categorization method was demonstrated with 3828 general home photos. The experiment results showed the proposed categorization method would be useful to detect multiple semantic meaning of the home photos.  相似文献

This paper contributes to the literature around the Kaldor–Verdoorn law and analyses the impact of robotisation on the channels through which the law shapes labour-productivity growth. We start with a simple evolutionary reinterpretation of the law that combines Kaldorian and neo-Schumpeterian arguments. We then apply a GMM estimator to a panel of 17 industries in 25 OECD capitalist economies for the period 1990–2018. After elaborating on the general evidence of the evolutionary interpretation of the law, the estimates suggest a positive influence from robotisation: a higher robot density strengthens both the channel that ties labour productivity dynamics with mechanisation, and the one connected with the general advancement of science and technology which joins productivity to aggregate demand. This overall result is robust to several specifications of the underlying econometric model. Moreover, we find some evidence of technological unemployment out of the macroeconomic factor. Results agree with the empirical literature that suggests different impacts from robotisation on the basis of the level of economic activity considered.  相似文献

The paper proposes a decentralized state estimation method for the control of network systems, where a cooperative objective has to be achieved. The nodes of the network are partitioned into independent nodes, providing the control inputs, and dependent nodes, controlled by local interaction laws. The proposed state estimation algorithm allows the independent nodes to estimate the state of the dependent nodes in a completely decentralized way. To do that, it is necessary for each independent node of the network to estimate the control input components computed by the other independent nodes, without requiring communication among the independent nodes. The decentralized state estimator, including an input estimator, is developed and the convergence properties are studied. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.  相似文献

This paper proposes solutions that reduce the inaccuracy of distributed state estimation and consequent performance deterioration of distributed model predictive control caused by faults and inaccurate models. A distributed state estimation method for large-scale systems is introduced. A local state estimation approach considers the uncertainty of neighbor estimates, which can improve the state estimation accuracy, whereas it keeps a low network communication burden. The method also incorporates the uncertainty of model parameters which improves the performance when using simplified models. The proposed method is extended with multiple models and estimates the probability of nominal and fault behavior models, which creates a distributed fault detection and diagnosis method. An example with application to the building heating control demonstrates that the proposed algorithm provides accurate state estimates to a controller and detects local or global faults while using simplified models.  相似文献
