A comprehensive analysis of Germany's chemical periodicals included in the databases of the two leading international information-analytical systems Scopus and Web of Science, a bibliographic database Ulrich's Periodicals Directory, as well as in the database of All-Russia Institute for Scientific and Technical Information of Russian Academy of Sciences (VINITI RAS), was performed. An analytical procedure developed made it possible to analyze effectively different domains of publications, both common to the three databases, as well as various combinations of interest, inter alia an array which was not included in any of them. The data covering the ratings of periodicals were presented basing on generally accepted international scientometric indicators and on processing degree value for the VINITI database. Distribution of subject areas, publishing houses, language of editions, internet access availability were determined. The research results allowed to summarize proposals for optimization of VINITI database workflow in the area studied.  相似文献

Technology developed for the creation of a Russian language database and an electronic library allowed us to prepare a new electronic information product, that is, electronic, scientific, and technological analytic surveys. Currently, the electronic publications of the VINITI “Results in Science and Technology” in astronomy, physics, mathematics, and issues of the Smirnov Collection of the Moscow State University are published on DVD.  相似文献

Based on the analysis of a range of key publications in the area of nanoenergy, which, among other journals, were reflected in the Physics of Nanoobjects and Nanotechnology issue of the peer-reviewed journal that was published by the All-Russia Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of the Russian Academy of Sciences (VINITI RAS) in the 2000–2012 period, key areas of research in this field are analyzed from the perspective of physics. The citation indexes of the key publications, the geographic origins of their authors, and the demand for nanoenergy products are presented. The areas of growth are specified, and the scientific interest in the related problems in different countries is analyzed.  相似文献

The history of the establishment and development of the RAS VINITI AJ in mathematics from 1953 to 2007 is considered. Various classification systems are analyzed that were used in different periods of the creation of the AJ, as well as the subject indexes to the AJ. The structure of mathematical AJ problems is described. A statistical analysis of the cumulative flow of publications reflected in the cumulated volumes and special issues of AJ “Mathematics” from 1953 to 2007 has been performed.  相似文献

A comparative analysis of the thematic scope of publications in the literature focusing on graphene in the period between 2010 and the first half of 2011 is conducted. The development patterns for physics of graphene are highlighted. Hotspots and emerging trends are outlined in this area, based on the analysis of publications in volumes 1–12 of the 2010 edition and volumes 1–6 of the 2011 edition of the peer-reviewed journal The Physics of Nanoobjects and Nanotechnologies published by the All Union Institute for Scientific and Technical Information of the Russian Academy of Sciences (VINITI RAS).  相似文献

This paper considers the problems of the information society in Russia and their interrelationships in solving the tasks of the innovation Strategy-2020 and in forming the innovation infrastructure and systems for the management of innovations. The urgency and necessity of using the intellectual resources of the VINITI RAS Databank, as well as the preparation of new analytical products in the Analysis of Innovations series are substantiated. The paper considers the design of integrated information-analytic systems by using a mathematical model of grouping of the related scientific-research institutes and choosing a group center, i.e., an Internet portal. The modeling accounts for thematic similarity of targeted tasks and cost issues. The Electronic Earth project launched by the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) is aimed at the development of a system of thematic Internet portals centered around the portal of the All-Russian Institute of Scientific and Technical Information (VINITI) of the Russian Academy Of Sciences and constructed on the basis of computer modeling.  相似文献

The history of the creation and development of the VINITI RAS “Geography” reference journal from 1954 to 2008 is considered. The changes in retrofunds and dynamics of the distribution of the overall quantity of documents in the reference journal/database have been followed in relation to the changes in the content contained in the issues during the period of time under consideration. Contemporary scientific publishing in mathematics and physics (as in other exact sciences) is a complex and rapidly changing process. The most important element of this process, namely, the refereeing process is considered. In particular, meaningful changes towards refereeing process in mathematics and physics are identified and predicted. Considering a transition that takes place from the traditional refereeing system to other models and introducing the four basic parameters of the refereeing process, namely, the review stage, the openness for editors, referees and authors, journals and e-journals, feedback and e-feedback, several different models are proposed and described for improving the traditional refereeing system (e.g., 2-stage open and semi-open pre-review models, 1-stage open and blind pre-review models, and 0-stage open post-review models).  相似文献

We discussed several issues related to the systematization of scientific publications in the field of chemistry and chemical technology that are contained in abstract databases such as the Web of Science Core Collection, Scopus, and the VINITI RAS Chemistry Database. Next we noted a rapid growth of interdisciplinary publications authored by chemists. We discussed the problems of information support in view of the intensifying interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary nature of research. Then we presented the results of an information search performed across several abstract databases for the main subject areas. In the end, we discussed an increase in the number of scientific publications in the field of chemistry and chemical technology, which has accelerated in recent years in comparison to other fields of science.  相似文献

This paper analyzes the content of large (40000–80000 doc./year) and average (20000–30 000 doc./year) databases on physico-mathematical and some technical sciences for 1996–2010 that are in the databank of the VINITI RAS. This research on arrays with large coverage of periodicals (from 2500 to 9000 sources in different thematic fragments) permits one to draw the conclusion that the record in the form 1 : x : x 3, where x is the Bradford parameter, is suitable for the Bradford rule as the ratio of the number of sources in three zones with a similar documental content. The subsequent specification of this ratio requires the standardization of all sources by their average monthly content and maximum supplementation of the zones of nuclear and profile journals with omitted articles.  相似文献

This paper considers the basic categories of consumers of information on sinology. It describes the results of analyzing the problem and thematic structure of the document flow on the problems of China, which is contained in databases on social sciences and humanities of the Institute of Scientific Information on Social Sciences (INION) of the RAS. The principles for complex processing of documents and searching for information on sinology are uncovered based on a complex of linguistic instruments. The potential for creating a database on country studies database that is focused on the information needs of sinologists is determined.  相似文献
