This paper proposes a knowledge map management system to facilitate knowledge management in virtual communities of practice. To realize the proposed knowledge map management, we develop knowledge map creation and maintenance functions by utilizing information retrieval and data mining techniques. The knowledge maps created respectively from the documents of the teachers’ professional community, SCTNet, and the thesis repository at Taiwan’s National Central Library, are evaluated by experts of these two domains. Knowledge maps generated by the system are accepted by domain experts from the evaluation since the degree of their modification of the automatically created knowledge maps is proportionally small. The knowledge structure representing the categories of community documents maintains its high purity, diversity, specificity, and structure adaptation by using the knowledge map maintenance function with limited computational cost. Thus, the knowledge map creation and maintenance mechanisms developed in this research enable the dynamic knowledge management of communities of practice on the Internet.  相似文献

The massively growing documents make it a challenge for researchers to find high value papers. To solve information explosion, some work on personalized paper recommendation have been proposed. However, the knowledge gap between a researcher's background knowledge and research target is seldom concerned. In this paper, we propose a new method of recommending helpful papers to support researchers by bridging the knowledge gap. First, domain knowledge is extracted as the concept map, which provides a basis of comparing user background knowledge and target knowledge. Then, the knowledge gap is defined with the concept map. To bridge the knowledge gap, the shortest concept paths are searched to explore some suitable knowledge paths, which can help researchers to acquire target knowledge in accordance with their cognition patterns. Finally, experiments are performed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the recommendation method.  相似文献

ContextNowadays the concept of knowledge mapping has attracted increased attention from scientists in a variety of academic disciplines and professional practice areas. Among the most important attributes of a knowledge map is its ability to increase communication and share common practices across an entire organisation. However, despite being a promising area for research, the knowledge maps community lacks a widespread understanding of the current state of the art.ObjectiveThe objective of this article is to explore the world of knowledge mapping by reviewing and analysing the current state of research and providing an overview of knowledge mapping’s concepts, benefits, techniques, classifications and methodologies, which are precisely reviewed, and their features are highlighted. In addition, we offer directions for future research.MethodBased on the systematic literature review method this study collects, synthesises, and analyses numerous articles on a variety of topics closely related to a knowledge map published from January 2000 to December 2013 on six electronic databases by following a pre-defined review protocol. The articles have been retrieved through a combination of automatic and manual search, hence extensive quantitative and qualitative results of the research are provided.ResultsFrom the review study, we identified 132 articles addressing knowledge maps that have been reviewed in order to extract relevant information on a set of research questions. We found a generally increasing level of activity during this 5-year period. We noted that while existing research covers a large number of studies on some disciplines, such as systems and tools development, it contains very few studies on other disciplines, such as knowledge maps adoption. To aid this situation, we offer directions for future research.ConclusionsThe results demonstrated that a knowledge map is an imperative strategy for increasing organisations’ effectiveness. The automatic text summary concerns the language industries. This work proposes a system automatically and directly transforming a source text into a reduced target text. The system deals exclusively with scientific and technical texts. It is based on the identification of specific expressions allowing an evaluation of the relevance of the sentence concerned, which can then be selected for the elaboration of the summary. The procedure consists in attributing a score to each sentence of the text and then eliminating those having the lowest scores. To produce the RAFI system (automatic summary based on indicative fragments), we resorted to the linguistic means of discourse analysis and the computing capacity of data processing instruments. In today’s world, knowledge is important for constructing core competitive advantages for individuals and organizations. Recently, Web 2.0 applications and social media have provided a convenient medium for people to share knowledge over the Internet. However, the huge amount of created knowledge can also leads to the problem of information overload. This research proposes a social knowledge navigation mechanism that utilizes the techniques of relevant knowledge network construction, knowledge importance analysis, and knowledge concept ontology construction to generate a visualized recommendation of a knowledge map of sub-concept and knowledge of an article reading sequence for supporting learning activities related to a free online encyclopedia. The results of experiments conducted on Wikipedia show that the proposed mechanism can effectively recommend useful articles and improve a knowledge seeker’s learning effectiveness.  相似文献

Word embeddings, which represent words as numerical vectors in a high-dimensional space, are contextualized by generating a unique vector representation for each sense of a word based on the surrounding words and sentence structure. They are typically generated using such deep learning models as BERT and trained on large amounts of text data and using self-supervised learning techniques. Resulting embeddings are highly effective at capturing the nuances of language, and have been shown to significantly improve the performance of numerous NLP tasks. Word embeddings represent textual records of human thinking, with all the mental relations that we utilize to produce the succession of sentences that make up texts and discourses. Consequently, the distributed representation of words within embeddings ought to capture the reasoning relations that hold texts together. This paper makes its contribution to the field by proposing a benchmark for the assessment of contextualized word embeddings that probes into their capability for true contextualization by inspecting how well they capture resemblance, contrariety, comparability, identity, relations in time and space, causation, analogy, and sense disambiguation. The proposed metrics adopt a triangulation approach, so they use (1) Hume’s reasoning relations, (2) standard analogy, and (3) sense disambiguation. The benchmark has been evaluated against 22 Arabic contextualized embeddings and has proven to be capable of quantifying their differential performance in terms of these reasoning relations. Results of evaluation of the target embeddings revealed that they do take context into account and that they do reasonably well in sense disambiguation but have weakness in their identification of converseness, synonymy, complementarity, and analogy. Results also show that size of an embedding has diminishing returns because the highly frequent language patterns swamp low frequency patterns. Furthermore, the suggest that future research endeavors should not be concerned with the quantity of data as much as its quality, and that it should focus more on the representativeness of data, and on model architecture, design, and training.  相似文献

针对创新社区日益增长的海量信息阻碍了用户对知识进行有效获取和创造的现状,将模糊形式概念分析(FFCA)理论应用于创新社区领先用户的个性化知识推荐研究。首先识别出创新社区领先用户并对其发帖内容进行文本挖掘得到用户——知识模糊形式背景,然后构建带有相似度的模糊概念格对用户偏好进行建模,最后基于模糊概念格和协同过滤的推荐算法为领先用户提供个性化知识推荐有序列表。以手机用户创新社区为例,验证了基于FFCA的领先用户个性化知识推荐方法的可行性,有助于满足用户个性化知识需求,促进用户更好地参与社区知识创新。  相似文献

【目的/意义】为了向在线医疗社区中的用户自动推荐符合其自身实际需求的医生,本文基于在线问诊文本 信息,提出了基于相似用户与相似医生的混合医生推荐算法。【方法/过程】首先从用户咨询问题出发,找到具有相 似咨询问题的用户,将其所选择的医生作为基于相似用户的推荐集合;然后从医生回答从发,通过LDA主题模型训 练,从医生回答文本集中挖掘出隐含的疾病主题,按主题查找具有相似疾病诊治经验的医生作为推荐集合;最后通 过混合相似度计算融合基于相似用户和相似医生的推荐结果,得到最终推荐列表。【结果/结论】通过对在线医疗社 区“39健康网”进行实证研究,结果表明,利用本文提出的方法进行推荐,能够有效降低数据维度,挖掘文本间的潜 在语义关联,有效缩小语义鸿沟,提升推荐质量,具有较好的推荐效果。【创新/局限】本文仅选取了针对科室的小样 本数据进行实验,且部分参数使用经验值,未来可深入探讨该方法在大规模医疗数据集上的应用。  相似文献

An idiom is a common phrase that means something other than its literal meaning. Detecting idioms automatically is a serious challenge in natural language processing (NLP) domain applications like information retrieval (IR), machine translation and chatbot. Automatic detection of Idioms plays an important role in all these applications. A fundamental NLP task is text classification, which categorizes text into structured categories known as text labeling or categorization. This paper deals with idiom identification as a text classification task. Pre-trained deep learning models have been used for several text classification tasks; though models like BERT and RoBERTa have not been exclusively used for idiom and literal classification. We propose a predictive ensemble model to classify idioms and literals using BERT and RoBERTa, fine-tuned with the TroFi dataset. The model is tested with a newly created in house dataset of idioms and literal expressions, numbering 1470 in all, and annotated by domain experts. Our model outperforms the baseline models in terms of the metrics considered, such as F-score and accuracy, with a 2% improvement in accuracy.  相似文献

The social question and answer (Q&A) community provides people with an effective tool to obtain high-quality information. From the perspective of reciprocal determinism and value co-creation, this study aims to investigate the formation mechanism of high-quality knowledge in the community. We develop a model to investigate how cognitive factors and community technological factors influence users’ knowledge co-creation behavior, thereby influencing knowledge quality in the community. A survey of 382 knowledge contributors in a social Q&A community shows that knowledge self-efficacy, topic richness, personalized recommendation, and social interactivity have a positive impact on users' knowledge sharing and integration behavior, which subsequently affect the community’s knowledge quality. Moreover, users' ratings moderate the influence of knowledge sharing on knowledge quality. This research demonstrates the synergistic effect of people and technology in knowledge co-creation, thus advances literature about value co-creation and content quality in online communities.  相似文献

 传统的科学文本分析范式是内容无涉的神话式研究模式,它在科学文本与科学实践之间作了“真实反映论”的处理。而SSK学者则打开了科学文本的黑箱,从认知的角度来解构传统的科学文本神话观,试图打破传统科学文本观在文本与真实世界之间所标注的反映论逻辑。文章认为这种转向既与科学哲学界语言学、修辞学、解释学转向相一致,同时也打开了SSK进行自我反思的通途,具有重要的学术意义;就实践意义来讲,它提醒人们进行科学文本关注,为科学失范的预防提供认识论依据,同时也启示了一种基于传统宏观分析与SSK微观研究互补的新的方法论。  相似文献

With the advances in natural language processing (NLP) techniques and the need to deliver more fine-grained information or answers than a set of documents, various QA techniques have been developed corresponding to different question and answer types. A comprehensive QA system must be able to incorporate individual QA techniques as they are developed and integrate their functionality to maximize the system’s overall capability in handling increasingly diverse types of questions. To this end, a new QA method was developed to learn strategies for determining module invocation sequences and boosting answer weights for different types of questions. In this article, we examine the roles and effects of the answer verification and weight boosting method, which is the main core of the automatically generated strategy-driven QA framework, in comparison with a strategy-less, straightforward answer-merging approach and a strategy-driven but with manually constructed strategies.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a multi-strategic matching and merging approach to find correspondences between ontologies based on the syntactic or semantic characteristics and constraints of the Topic Maps. Our multi-strategic matching approach consists of a linguistic module and a Topic Map constraints-based module. A linguistic module computes similarities between concepts using morphological analysis, string normalization and tokenization and language-dependent heuristics. A Topic Map constraints-based module takes advantage of several Topic Maps-dependent techniques such as a topic property-based matching, a hierarchy-based matching, and an association-based matching. This is a composite matching procedure and need not generate a cross-pair of all topics from the ontologies because unmatched pairs of topics can be removed by characteristics and constraints of the Topic Maps. Merging between Topic Maps follows the matching operations. We set up the MERGE function to integrate two Topic Maps into a new Topic Map, which satisfies such merge requirements as entity preservation, property preservation, relation preservation, and conflict resolution. For our experiments, we used oriental philosophy ontologies, western philosophy ontologies, Yahoo western philosophy dictionary, and Wikipedia philosophy ontology as input ontologies. Our experiments show that the automatically generated matching results conform to the outputs generated manually by domain experts and can be of great benefit to the following merging operations.  相似文献
