This paper is concerned with the stability analysis of time-delay systems. Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional method is utilized to obtain stability criteria in the form of linear matrix inequalities. The main purpose is to obtain less conservative stability criteria by reducing the estimation gap of the time derivative of the constructed Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional. First, a generalized multiple-integral inequality is put forward based on Schur complement lemma. Then, some special cases of the proposed generalized multiple-integral inequality are given to estimate single and double integral terms in the derivative of Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional. Furthermore, less conservative stability criteria are derived. Finally, three examples are given to illustrate the improvement of the proposed criteria.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with integrated event-triggered fault estimation (FE) and sliding mode fault-tolerant control (FTC) for a class of discrete-time Lipschtiz nonlinear networked control systems (NCSs) subject to actuator fault and disturbance. First, an event-triggered fault/state observer is designed to estimate the system state and actuator fault simultaneously. And then, a discrete-time sliding surface is constructed in state-estimation space. By the use of a reformulated Lipschitz property and delay system analysis method, the sliding mode dynamics and state/fault error dynamics are converted into a unified linear parameter varying (LPV) networked system model by taking into account the event-triggered scheme, actuator fault, external disturbance and network-induced delay. Based on this model and with the aid of Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional method, a delay-dependent sufficient condition is derived to guarantee the stability of the resulting closed-loop system with prescribed H performance. Furthermore, an observed-based sliding mode FTC law is synthesized to make sure the reachability of the sliding surface. Finally, simulation results are conducted to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

This paper aims at establishing necessary and sufficient conditions of exponential stability for linear discrete-time systems with multiple delays. Firstly, we introduce a new concept—Lyapunov matrix, and investigate its properties, existence and uniqueness by: (i) characterizing the solution of a boundary value problem of matrix difference equations; and (ii) constructing complete type Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals with pre-specified forward difference. Secondly, a new constructive analysis methodology, named Lyapunov matrix approach, is proposed to establish necessary and sufficient exponential stability conditions for discrete-time systems with multiple delays. Finally, two numerical examples are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results. It is worth emphasizing that, from a view of computation, the Lyapunov matrix approach proposed here is concerned with three key steps: (i) solve a systems of linear equations; (ii) check whether a constant matrix is of full-column-rank, and (iii) judge whether a constant matrix is positive definite. All of these can be easily realized by using the tool software—MATLAB.  相似文献

This paper addresses the delay-dependent stability problem of linear systems with interval time-varying delays. A generalized free-matrix-based inequality is proposed and employed to derive stability conditions, which are less conservative than the Bessel–Legendre inequality. An augmented Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional is tailored for the generalized free-matrix-based inequality. Then, some items in the Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals are integrated so as to relax its positive definite condition, which provides a more accurate lower bound for the Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals. Therefore, some less conservative stability criteria are presented. Two numerical examples illustrate the effectiveness of the method.  相似文献

This paper studies the stability problem of linear time-varying delay system. Firstly, a double integral inequality based on the second-order derivative is proposed in this paper. Secondly, novel Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional consisting of integral terms based on the second-order derivative is constructed to enhance the feasible region of delay-dependent stability. Based on the two aspects, new delay-dependent stability criteria which guarantee the asymptotic stability of linear systems with time-varying delay are given in the form of linear matrix inequality (LMI). Finally, several numerical examples are given to show the advantages of the proposed methods.  相似文献

This paper deals with the problems of finite-time stability and stabilization for continuous-time switched positive linear time-delay systems under mode-dependent average dwell time switching signals. First, finite-time stability conditions are established by constructing an multiple piecewise copositive Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional. Then, finite-time stabilization is achieved by designing a state-feedback controller in the form of linear programming. This numerical construction approach proposed for controller cancels the restriction of the multiple piecewise copositive Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional on controllers, which can decrease the conservatism. Finally, two numerical examples are given to show the advantages of our methods.  相似文献

In this paper, the asymptotic stability analysis is investigated for a kind of discrete-time bidirectional associative memory (BAM) neural networks with the existence of perturbations namely, stochastic, Markovian jumping and impulses. Based on the theory of stability, a novel Lyapunov–Krasovskii function is constructed and by utilizing the concept of delay partitioning approach, a new linear-matrix-inequality (LMI) based criterion for the stability of such a system is proposed. Furthermore, the derived sufficient conditions are expressed in the structure of LMI, which can be easily verified by a known software package that guarantees the globally asymptotic stability of the equilibrium point. Eventually, a numerical example with simulation is given to demonstrate the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed method.  相似文献

This paper deals with absolute stability of uncertain Lur’e systems with time-varying delay. By introducing a Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional related to a second-order Bessel–Legendre inequality, some absolute stability criteria are derived for the system under study. Different from some existing approaches, a remarkable feature of this paper is that the time-derivative of the Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional is estimated by a linear function rather than a quadratic function on the time-varying delay, thanks to the introduction of four extra vectors. As a result, the resulting absolute stability criteria are of less conservatism than some existing ones, which is demonstrated through three examples.  相似文献

This paper deals with the problem of delay-dependent stability analysis for neural networks with time-varying delays. First, by constructing an augmented Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional and utilizing a generalized free-weighting matrix integral inequality, an improved stability criterion for the concerned network is derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Second, by considering a marginal augmented vector and modifying a Lyapunov–Krasovsii functional, a further enhanced stability criterion is presented. Third, a less conservative stability condition in which a relaxed inequality related to activation functions is added is introduced. Finally, three numerical examples are included to illustrate the advantage and validity of the proposed criteria.  相似文献

In this paper, an auxiliary model-based nonsingular M-matrix approach is used to establish the global exponential stability of the zero equilibrium, for a class of discrete-time high-order Cohen–Grossberg neural networks (HOCGNNs) with time-varying delays, connection weights and impulses. A new impulse-free discrete-time HOCGNN with time-varying delays and connection weights is firstly constructed, and the relationship between the solutions of original systems and new HOCGNNs is indicated by a technical lemma. From which, the global exponential stability criteria for the zero equilibrium are derived by using an inductive idea and the properties of nonsingular M-matrices. The effectiveness of the obtained stability criteria is illustrated by numerical examples. Compared with the previous results, this paper has three advantages: (i) The Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional is not required; (ii) The obtained global exponential stability criteria are applied to check whether a matrix is a nonsingular M-matrix, which can be conveniently tested; (iii) The proposed approach applies to most of discrete-time system models with impulses and delays.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the stability analysis of linear continuous-time delay-difference systems with multiple delays. Firstly, a new method for testing the L2-exponential stability of the considered system is proposed, which is easier to use than the one in the existing literature. In view of the conservatism and the complexity of the obtained stability conditions in the existing literature, a complete Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional (LKF) is constructed by analyzing the relationship among the multiple delays. Sufficient conditions for both L2-exponential stability and exponential stability are then derived based on the constructed LKFs, which are delay-independent. Exponential convergence rate for the considered system is also investigated by a new method, which is shown to be equivalent to the existing approach by using weighted LKFs. Robust stability under parameter uncertainties is also investigated. Numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness and less conservativeness of the proposed method.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to the investigation of the delay-dependent H filtering problem for a class of discrete-time singular Markov jump systems with Wiener process and partly unknown transition probabilities. The class of stochastic singular model under consideration is more general and covers the stochastic singular Markov jump time-varying delay systems with completely known and completely unknown transition probabilities as two special cases. Firstly, based on a stochastic Lyapunov–Krasovskii candidate function and an auxiliary vector function, by employing some appropriate free-weighting matrices, the discretized Jensen inequality and combining them with the structural characteristics of the filtering error system, a set of delay-dependent sufficient conditions are established, which ensure that the filtering error system is stochastically admissible. And then, a singular filter is designed such that the filtering error system is not only regular, causal and stochastically stable, but also satisfy a prescribed H performance for all time-varying delays no larger than a given upper bound. Furthermore, the sufficient conditions for the solvability of the H filtering problem are obtained in terms of a new type of Lyapunov–Krasovskii candidate function and a set of linear matrix inequalities. Finally, simulation examples are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method in the paper.  相似文献

The problem of robust finite-time stability (RFTS) for singular nonlinear systems with interval time-varying delay is studied in this paper. Some delay-dependent sufficient conditions of RFTS are derived in the form of the linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) by using Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional (LKF) method and singular analysis technique. This paper addresses the robust H filter design problem for a class of uncertain fuzzy neutral stochastic system with time-delay through Takagi–Sugeno (T–S) fuzzy model. By constructing an augmented Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, some novel delay-dependent stability criteria for uncertain fuzzy neutral stochastic system with time varying delay are obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities. By using the integral inequality in the neutral stochastic setting combined with delay decomposition approach, the H fuzzy filter is designed to guarantee the corresponding filtering error systems robustly asymptotically stable with a specified H performance index. At last, two numerical examples are presented to show the less conservatism than the previous results.  相似文献

In this paper, the exponential stabilization problem of uncertain T–S fuzzy systems with time-varying delay is emulated by fuzzy sampled-data H control. Firstly, a novel suitable Lyapunov–Krasovskii function is constructed, which contains all the information about the sampling pattern. Secondly, a less conservative result is achieved by using an extended Jensen inequality, and purposefully using a compact free weighting matrix. In addition, according to the linear matrix inequality (LMI), some sampled-data H exponential stability sufficient conditions and controller design of T–S fuzzy systems are established. Finally, effectiveness gives some illustrative examples may be used to display the value of the current proposed method as well as a significant improvement.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to stability analysis of discrete-time delay systems based on a set of Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals. New multiple summation inequalities are derived that involve the famous discrete Jensen?s and Wirtinger?s inequalities, as well as the recently presented inequalities for single and double summation in [16]. The present paper aims at showing that the proposed set of sufficient stability conditions can be arranged into a bidirectional hierarchy of LMIs establishing a rigorous theoretical basis for the comparison of conservatism of the investigated methods. This paper improves stability criteria for neutral-type Lur’e systems with time-varying delays, where the nonlinearity satisfies sector and slope restrictions. A proposed Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional consisting of a quadratic term and integral terms for the time-varying delays and the nonlinearities, has four different characteristics. First, the quadratic term utilizes not only the current and delayed states but also the nonlinear vectors. Second, the integral terms for nonlinearities fully exploit the characteristics of sector and slope restrictions. Third, the integral terms for nonlinearities also exploit the characteristic of incremental restriction induced from the slope restriction. Fourth, this paper utilizes a vector related to the time derivative of the neutral delayed state to handle the neutral delay. Based on the proposed Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, the improved stability criteria are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Numerical examples show that the proposed criteria present less conservative results than the previous criteria.  相似文献

This paper studies the stability analysis of linear systems with time-varying delay, which is supposed to be the trigonometric form. By utilizing the characteristics between time-varying delay and its derivative, a novel interval approximation method is proposed, which provides the new allowable delay sets. Then making use of Wirtinger inequality, reciprocally convex inequality and the looped Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals, the stability criteria with less conservatism are obtained. Finally, two examples are used to show the effectiveness and efficiency of the stability criteria.  相似文献

This paper presents a novel event-triggered H static output-feedback control for active vehicle suspension systems with network-induced delays. The proposed control schema introduces an event-triggering mechanism in the suspension system such that the communication resources can be significantly saved. By applying some improved slack inequalities and an augmented Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional (LKF), a new design condition expressed in the form of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) is developed to derive the desired event-triggered controller. The obtained algorithm is then employed to solve the static output-feedback control gain. Compared with the traditional sampled-data H control scheme, the proposed controller is able to provide an enhanced disturbance attenuation level while saving the control cost. Finally, comparative simulation results are provided to show the performance of the proposed event-triggered controller.  相似文献
