Finite-time and fixed-time synchronization (FAFS) of coupled memristive neural networks (CMNNs) with discontinuous feedback functions are explored in this paper. Firstly, a more comprehensive stability theory is systematically established. Secondly, by designing adaptive feedback controller and discontinuous feedback controller, both finite-time and fixed-time synchronization can be realized through regulating the main control parameter. Thirdly, 1-norm and quadratic-norm Lyapunov functions are considered simultaneously in this article, while in estimating the settling time, the former one is more accurate than the latter one under the same synchronization criteria. Finally, in numerical simulation, the analysis and comparison of the proposed controllers are given to show the effectiveness of the corresponding results.  相似文献

This paper investigates the issue of finite/fixed-time bipartite consensus (FFTBC) of multi-agent systems with signed graphs. A new unified framework of finite-time and fixed-time bipartite consensus is built via some discontinuous control protocols based on the theory of differential inclusion and set-valued Lie derivative. Under the structurally balanced or unbalanced signed graphs, the goal of FFTBC is reached by a common discontinuous controller with different control gains, which fills the gap in studying FFTBC issues with discontinuous protocols. Some numerical examples with comparisons are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of our designs.  相似文献

In this paper, the fixed-time synchronization between two delayed complex networks with hybrid couplings is investigated. The internal delay, transmission coupling delay and self-feedback coupling delay are all included in the network model. By introducing and proving a new and important differential equality, and utilizing periodically semi-intermittent control, some fixed-time synchronization criteria are derived in which the settling time function is bounded for any initial values. It is shown that the control rate, network size and node dimension heavily influence the estimating for the upper bound of the convergence time of synchronization state. Finally, numerical simulations are performed to show the feasibility and effectiveness of the control methodology by comparing with the corresponding finite-time synchronization problem.  相似文献

Multiplex networks involve different types of synchronization due to their complex spatial structure. How to control multiplex networks to achieve different types of synchronization is an interesting topic. This paper considers the fixed-time synchronization of multiplex networks under sliding mode control (SMC). Firstly, for realizing three types of synchronization of multiplex networks in a fixed time, a unified sliding mode surface (SMS) is established. After that, based on the theory of SMC, a sliding mode controller (SMCr) which is more intelligent and has a simpler form than those in the existing literature is put forward for multiplex networks. It can not only guarantee the emergence of sliding mode motion, but also can realize three different kinds of synchronization by adjusting some parameters or even one parameter of the controller. Based on some theories of fixed-time stability, this paper deduces several sufficient conditions for the trajectories of the system to reach the preset SMS in a fixed time, and derives some sufficient conditions for multiplex networks to realize three different types of fixed-time synchronization. At the same time, the settling time which can reveal what factors determine the fixed-time synchronization in multiplex networks is obtained. Finally, in numerical simulations, different chaotic systems are set for each layer of multiplex networks to represent the nodes of different layers, which can prove that the theoretical results are practical and effective.  相似文献

This paper mainly investigates the fixed-time synchronization of memristor-based fuzzy cellular neural network (MFCNN) with time-varying delay. By utilizing differential inclusion, set-valued map theory, the definitions of finite-time and fixed-time stability, we convert the fixed-time synchronization control of the drive-response MFCNN into the equivalent fixed-time stability problem of the error system between the drive-response systems. Some novel sufficient conditions are derived to guarantee the fixed-time synchronization of the drive-response MFCNN based on a simple Lyapunov function and a nonlinear feedback controller. Meanwhile, the settling time can be estimated by simple calculations. Furthermore, these fixed-time synchronization criteria here are easy to validate and extend to the MFCNN without time-varying delay and general memristor-based neural networks. Finally, three numerical examples are given to illustrate the correctness of the main results.  相似文献

This article aims to study fixed-time projective lag synchronization(FXPLS) and preassigned-time projective lag synchronization(PTPLS) of hybrid inertial neural networks(HINNs) with state-switched and discontinuous activation functions(DAFs). By constructing new hybrid fixed-time control and based on theory of non-smooth analysis, we achieve novel results on FXPLS for such HINNs. Through designing novel hybrid preassigned-time control, new criteria on PTPLS of the HINNs is also taken into account. And as distinct from recent works, the FXPLS and PTPLS results are established via non-variable substitution and in a more generalized framework than common synchronization, which also has more extensive practical applications. Finally, example simulations are displayed to set forth the validity of the acquired FXPLS and PTPLS.  相似文献

The present study investigates the fixed-time synchronization issue for delayed complex networks under intermittent pinning control. Different from some existing semi-intermittent controllers for finite/fixed-time synchronization, our pinning controller is designed in a complete intermittent way. In order to address the encountered theoretical analysis difficulties, a new differential inequality lemma is developed, which is suitable for the fixed-time synchronization studies under periodic or aperiodic complete intermittent control. Then, by using Lyapunov theory and pinning control approach, sufficient conditions are proposed which can guarantee the aperiodically completely intermittent-controlled delayed complex networks realizing fixed-time pinning synchronization. Moreover, the settling time is explicitly estimated, which is irrelevant to the initial values of our network systems. Additionally, as a special case, the scenario of periodic complete intermittent control is also discussed. At last, some simulation examples are utilized to confirm our theoretical outcomes.  相似文献

This paper studies the finite-time lag synchronization issue of master-slave complex networks with unknown signal propagation delays by the linear and adaptive error state feedback approaches. The unknown signal propagation delays are fully considered and estimated by adaptive laws. By designing new Lyapunov functional and discontinuous feedback controllers, which involves the estimated error rather than the general synchronization error, sufficient conditions are derived to ensure lag synchronization of the networks within a setting time. It is interesting to discover that the setting time is related to initial values of both the estimated error and the estimated unknown signal propagation delays. Finally, two numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness and correctness of the proposed finite-time lag synchronization criteria.  相似文献

In this paper, we concern the finite-time synchronization problem for delayed dynamical networks via aperiodically intermittent control. Compared with some correspondingly previous results, the intermittent control can be aperiodic which is more general. Moreover, by establishing a new differential inequality and constructing Lyapunov function, several useful criteria are derived analytically to realize finite-time synchronization for delay complex networks. Additionally, as a special case, some sufficient conditions ensuring the finite-time synchronization for a class of coupled neural network are obtained. It is worth noting that the convergence time is carefully discussed and does not depend on control widths or rest widths for the proposed aperiodically intermittent control. Finally, a numerical example is given to demonstrate the validness of the proposed scheme.  相似文献

In this paper, the finite-time synchronization between two complex dynamical networks via the periodically intermittent adaptive control and the periodically intermittent feedback control is studied. The finite-time synchronization criteria are derived based on finite-time stability theory, the differential inequality and the analysis technique. Since the traditional synchronization criteria for some models are improved in the convergence time by using the novel periodically intermittent adaptive control and periodically intermittent feedback control, the results of this paper are important. Numerical examples are finally presented to illustrate the effectiveness and correctness of the theoretical results.  相似文献

In this paper, adaptive fixed-time synchronization(FTS) of stochastic memristor-based neural networks(MNNs) with discontinuous activations and mixed delays is investigated. Both continuous and discontinuous activation functions are discussed for stochastic MNNs. Meanwhile, a feedback control strategy and a new adaptive control strategy are proposed to ensure FTS of stochastic MNNs. Since the MNNs are right-hand discontinuous systems, the set-valued mapping and differential inclusion theory are used to deal with its discontinuity. Synchronization criteria and the settling time (ST) are obtained with the aid of some lemmas and mathematical inequalities under corresponding control schemes. It’s worth noting that the ST can be adjusted to desired value by controller parameters regardless of the initial values. Finally, the feasibility of theoretical results are proved via simulation results.  相似文献

In this paper, the finite-time synchronization problem of complex dynamic networks with time delay is studied via aperiodically intermittent control. By compared with the existed results concerning aperiodically intermittent control, some new results are obtained to guarantee the synchronization of networks in a finite time. Especially, a new lemma is proposed to reduce the convergence time. In addition, based on aperiodically intermittent control scheme, the essential condition ensuring finite-time synchronization of dynamic networks is also obtained, and the convergence time is closely related to the topological structure of networks and the maximum ratio of the rest width to the aperiodic time span. In this paper, finite-time synchronization problem is considered for a class of Markovian jump complex networks (MJCNs) with partially unknown transition rates. By constructing the suitable stochastic Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, using finite-time stability theorem, inequality techniques and the pinning control technique, several sufficient criteria have been proposed to ensure the finite-time synchronization for the MJCNs with or without time delays. Since finite-time synchronization means the optimality in convergence time and has better robustness and disturbance rejection properties, this paper has important theory significance and practical application value. Finally, numerical simulations illustrated by mode jumping from one mode to another according to a Markovian chain with partially unknown transition probability verify the effectiveness of the proposed results.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the global projective synchronization in fixed time for complex dynamical networks (CDNs) with nonidentical nodes in the presence of disturbances. Firstly, in order to realize the fixed-time projective synchronization of CDNs with matched disturbances, the second-order sliding mode is established, and the global fixed-time reachability of sliding manifolds is analyzed. The fixed-time stability of the sliding mode dynamics is also proved analytically based on Lyapunov stability theory. Moreover, the fixed convergence time of both reaching and sliding mode phases can be adjusted to any desired values in advance by the choice of the designable parameters. Secondly, in order to realize the fixed-time projective synchronization of CDNs with mismatched disturbances, a super-twisting-like (STL) controller, which does not require the information of the derivative of the sliding variable, is designed, and the synchronization condition is addressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). By the proposed controllers, continuous control signals can be provided to reduce the chattering effect and improve the control accuracy. Finally, two numerical examples are given to demonstrate the validity of the theoretical results and the the feasibility of the proposed approaches.  相似文献

In a fixed-time control system, the convergence rate and the fixed settling time are two important performance indexes. In this paper, a novel fixed-time control law is proposed and designed to control a class of coupled delayed Cohen-Grossberg neural networks to achieve synchronization with fast convergence rate within a fixed settling time. It should be emphasized that the derived settling time approach can provide a tighter settling time to more effectively reflect the performance for fast convergence rate of the considered controlled system. Moreover, to show the advantages of the proposed fixed-time control law and the derived fixed settling time approach, the existing related control laws and fixed settling time approaches are further discussed. In addition, the obtained fixed-time synchronization control theory is applied to a secure communication scenario, which further shows the feasibility and innovation of the addressed theoretical results.  相似文献

This paper considers the finite-time synchronization problem for a class of fractional-order complex dynamical networks (FOCDNs). By utilizing the properties of fractional calculus and fractional-order comparison principle, we propose a new lemma. Base on the new lemma, some analysis techniques and algebraic graph theory method, some novel criteria are given to ensure finite-time synchronization of FOCDNs, and the upper bound of the setting time for synchronization is estimated. This paper deals with the synchronization control of a class of delayed neural networks using a fast fixed-time control theory. By employing Lyapunov stability theory, a novel sufficient criterion is derived such that two neural networks can be synchronized within a fixed-time. Compared with some existing results, the proposed controller can render two neural networks faster synchronized. This paper investigates the problem of finite-time outer-synchronization for discrete-time complex networks with Markov jump topology in the presence of communication delays and possible information losses and its application to image encryption. A hybrid control, which is subject to both stochastic jumps and deterministic switches, is proposed to realize finite-time and stochastic outer-synchronization for the concerned networks. By utilizing a stochastic Lyapunov functional combined with the average dwell-time method, sufficient conditions are found such that the synchronization error dynamical system is stochastically stable in finite-time. Two numerical examples are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. Finally, the complex network consists of four coupled Lorenz systems are utilized to generate chaotic sequences and a new chaotic image cryptosystem is constructed to transmit encrypted images based on the synchronized drive-response complex networks. Experiments are conducted by using numerical simulation, and the security is analyzed in terms of key space, key sensitivity, histogram distributions, correlation coefficients, information entropy and differential attack measures. The experimental results show that the proposed chaotic image cryptosystem has the advantages of high security against some classical attacks.  相似文献

This paper considers the fixed-time bipartite consensus of nonlinear multi-agent systems (MASs) subjected to external disturbances. Under the directed signed networks, several sufficient conditions are proposed to guarantee the fixed-time bipartite consensus of MASs with or without leaders, respectively. Some discontinuous control protocols are developed to realize fixed-time tracking bipartite consensus of MASs with a leader. Moreover, the fixed-time leaderless bipartite consensus under directed signed graph are discussed as well. This paper focuses on the issue of finite-time stability for a general form of nonlinear systems subject to state-dependent delayed impulsive controller. Based on the Lyapunov theory and the impulsive control theory, sufficient conditions for finite-time stability (FTS) and finite-time contractive stability (FTCS) are obtained. Additionally, we apply theoretical results to finite-time synchronization of chaotic systems and design the effective state-dependent delayed impulsive controllers in terms of techniques of linear matrix inequality (LMI). Finally, we present two numerical examples of finite-time synchronization of cellular neural networks and Chua’s circuit to verify the effectiveness of our results.  相似文献
