This paper studies output feedback control of hydraulic actuators with modified continuous LuGre model based friction compensation and model uncertainty compensation. An output feedback adaptive robust controller is constructed which combines the adaptive control part and the robust control part seamlessly. The adaptive part is constructed to handle the parametric uncertainties existed in the model. The residuals coming from parameter adaption and the unmodeled dynamics are taken into consideration by the robust part. Since only the position signal is available, the velocity, pressure, and internal friction states are obtained by observation or estimation. The errors coming from observation and estimation are also dealt with the robust part. Furthermore, the convergence of the closed-loop controller–observer scheme is achieved by the Lyapunov method in the presence of parametric uncertainties only. Extensive comparative experiments performed on a hydraulic actuator demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed controller–observer scheme.  相似文献

This paper presents a novel Lyapunov function-based backstepping controller design to tackle the tracking problems for nonlinear systems with unmodeled dynamics and unmeasurable states. The coexistence of unmodeled dynamics and unmeasurable states is the main challenge, which calls for novel techniques to take these two factors into account simultaneously. First, the classical Luenberger observer is extended with a novel transformation function to decouple the original system state and state estimation error. In this way, the effect of unmodeled dynamics on system stability can be separately considered. On this basis, a command-filtered controller is designed to simplify the backstepping design procedures. It is worthy to pointed out that, a novel Lyapunov function is developed to simplify the stability analysis with command filter, where the filter errors, the observer error, compensated tracking errors, and parameter estimation errors can be guaranteed to be semi-globally uniformly ultimate bounded. The simulation studies are investigated to validate the effectiveness of the presented design scheme.  相似文献

This paper presents an extended state observer-based output feedback adaptive controller with a continuous LuGre friction compensation for a hydraulic servo control system. A continuous approximation of the LuGre friction model is employed, which preserves the main physical characteristics of the original model without increasing the complexity of the system stability analysis. By this way, continuous friction compensation is used to eliminate the majority of nonlinear dynamics in hydraulic servo system. Besides, with the development of a new parameter adaption law, the problems of parametric uncertainties are overcome so that more accurate friction compensation is realized. For another, the developed adaption law is driven by tracking errors and observation errors simultaneously. Thus, the burden of extended state observer to solve the remaining uncertainties is alleviated greatly and high gain feedback is avoided, which means better tracking performance and robustness are achieved. The designed controller handles not only matched uncertainties but also unmatched dynamics with requiring little system information, more importantly, it is based on output feedback method, in other words, the synthesized controller only relies on input signal and position output signal of the system, which greatly reduces the effects caused by signal pollution, measurement noise and other unexpected dynamics. Lyapunov-based analysis has proved this strategy presents a prescribed tracking transient performance and final tracking accuracy while obtaining asymptotic tracking performance in the presence of parametric uncertainties only. Finally, comparative experiments are conducted on a hydraulic servo platform to verify the high tracking performance of the proposed control strategy.  相似文献

This paper presents an additive-state-decomposition-based model predictive tracking control and disturbance rejection method for a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) servo system subject to unknown parameter perturbations, unmodeled dynamics, and time-varying load torque. The basic idea of this method is to equivalently decompose the original system into a primary system for handling the tracking control subproblem and a secondary system for dealing with the robust stabilization subproblem. A model predictive controller is designed for the primary system to achieve high-accuracy tracking of the reference speed. As for the secondary system, a novel high-order generalized extended state observer (HGESO) is constructed to estimate the multiple disturbances simultaneously, and a state feedback control law incorporating a disturbance compensator is developed to eliminate the adverse effect of the multiple disturbances on the system output. By combining the control inputs of the two subsystems together, the control objectives of the original system can be achieved. Both the stability criterion and design procedure of the closed-loop control system are developed. Finally, hardware-in-the-loop-based comparative experiments are conducted to demonstrate that the proposed method effectively suppresses the influence of the multiple disturbances on motor speed tracking accuracy and that the control system has both satisfactory dynamic performance and robustness.  相似文献

This study presents an output backstepping control architecture based on command filter via Multilayer-Neural-Network Pre-Observer with compensator to realise the reference signal tracking of an arbitrarily switching nonlinear systems with nonseperated parameter. First, a multilayer neural network pre-observer is designed before backstepping procedures to servo reconstruct the system states which can not be obtained directly. The pre-observer has superior performance in neutralizing the states abrupt chattering caused by the arbitrarily switching parameter entered in the nonlinear structure. Next, observer error compensation mechanism is designed to compensate the state estimation and shrink the approximation error domain further. Then, the backstepping controller with compensation signal based on command filter is presented to realise the stable reference signal tracking. Last, the proposed control scheme guarantees the states of the closed-loop system bounded. This mechanism makes up the shortcoming of the traditional state observer and give more flexibility in reconstructing the systems states timely, then overcomes the obstacle of the arbitrarily switching parameterized system. Furthermore, compared with the existing traditional uniform robust uncertain controller, the developed backstepping control method combining with the pre-observer not only guarantees the states servo reconstruction and servo control of the switched system, but also improves the tracking performance. Finally, a low-velocity servo turnable switched system is extensively simulated to demonstrate the effectiveness of the developed controller.  相似文献

This paper deals with the pole-placement-type robust adaptive control of continuous linear systems in the presence of bounded noise and a common class of unmodeled dynamics provided that two estimation schemes are used in parallel. Both estimation schemes are introduced in order to minimize the plant identification error by selecting, as plant parameter estimates, a convex combination of both parameter estimates which leads to the selection of one of the estimation schemes, via a switching rule, on time intervals of at least a minimum prefixed residence duration. The weights of the individual parameter vector estimates are provided at each time by an optimization or suboptimization scheme for a quadratic loss function of the possibly filtered tracking error and/or control input. The robust stability of the overall adaptive scheme is ensured by an adaptation relative dead zone which takes into account the contribution of the unmodeled dynamics and bounded noise. The basic results are derived for two different estimation strategies which have either a shared regressor with the plant or individual regressors for the input contribution and its contributed derivatives. In this second case, the plant input is obtained from a similar convex combination rule as the one used for the estimators in the first approach. An extension of the basic strategies is also pointed out including a combined use of the (sub) optimization scheme with a supervisor of past measures for the on-line calculation of the estimator weights in the convex combination. Finally, the extension of the scheme for the use of any number of parametrical estimators is focused on.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the image-based visual servoing (IBVS) control for uncalibrated camera-robot system with unknown dead-zone constraint, where the uncertain kinematics and dynamics are also considered. The control implementation is achieved by constructing a smooth inverse model for dead-zone-input to eliminate the nonlinear effect resulting from the actuator constraint. A novel adaptive algorithm, which does not require a priori knowledge of the parameter intervals of dead-zone model, is proposed to update the parameter values online, and the dead-zone slopes are not required the same. Furthermore, to accommodate the uncertainties of uncalibrated camera-robot system, adaptation laws are developed to estimate the uncertain parameters, simultaneously avoiding singularity of the image Jacobian matrix. With the full consideration of unknown dead-zone constraint and system uncertainties, an adaptive robust visual tracking control scheme together with dead-zone compensation is subsequently established such that the image tracking error converges to the origin. Based on a 3-DOF manipulator, simulations are conducted to verify the tracking performance of the proposed controller.  相似文献

Model reference adaptive control algorithms with minimal controller synthesis have proven to be an effective solution to tame the behaviour of linear systems subject to unknown or time-varying parameters, unmodelled dynamics and disturbances. However, a major drawback of the technique is that the adaptive control gains might exhibit an unbounded behaviour when facing bounded disturbances. Recently, a minimal controller synthesis algorithm with an integral part and either parameter projection or σ-modification strategies was proposed to guarantee boundedness of the adaptive gains. In this article, these controllers are experimentally validated for the first time by using an electro-mechanical system subject to significant rapidly varying disturbances and parametric uncertainty. Experimental results confirm the effectiveness of the modified minimal controller synthesis methods to keep the adaptive control gains bounded while providing, at the same time, tracking performances similar to that of the original algorithm.  相似文献

This paper considers the control problem of spacecraft line-of-sight (LOS) relative motion with thrust saturation in the presence of unmodeled dynamics, external disturbance and unknown mass property. By using skew-symmetric property, reference trajectory generator and anti-windup technique, a novel passivity-based adaptive sliding mode control (SMC) scheme is proposed without prior knowledge of uncertainty/disturbance bound. Within the Lyapunov framework, the establishment of a real sliding mode (which induces the practical stability of closed-loop error system) is validated. The main contributions are that a new control gain adaptive algorithm is adopted to attenuate the overestimation of switching gain and a differentiable projection-based parameter adaptive algorithm is proposed to force the mass approximator to remain in a desired domain, then the adaptive control law is modified by the reference trajectory generator and anti-windup technique to compensate for the effect of thrust saturation. Finally, simulations are conducted to show the fine performance of proposed control scheme.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with event-triggered adaptive fuzzy tracking control for high-order stochastic nonlinear systems. The approach of fuzzy logic systems (FLSs) approximation is extended to high-order stochastic nonlinear systems to deal with the unknown nonlinear uncertainties. A novel high-order adaptive fuzzy tracking controller is firstly presented via a backstepping approach and event-triggering mechanism which can mitigate the unnecessary waste of computation and communication resources. Based on the above techniques, frequently-used growth assumptions imposed on unknown system nonlinearities are removed and the influence for the high order is handled. The proposed high-order adaptive fuzzy tracking control method not only deals with the influence of high order, but also ensures that the tracking error converges to a small neighborhood of the origin in probability. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed control method is illustrated by a numerical example.  相似文献

The current paper addresses the fuzzy adaptive tracking control via output feedback for single-input single-output (SISO) nonlinear systems in strict-feedback form. Under the situation of system states being unavailable, the system output is used to set up the state observer to estimate the real system states. Furthermore, the estimation states are employed to design controller. During the control design process, fuzzy logic systems (FLSs) are used to model the unknown nonlinearities. A novel observer-based finite-time tracking control scheme is proposed via fuzzy adaptive backstepping and barrier Lyapunov function approach. The suggested fuzzy adaptive output feedback controller can force the output tracking error to meet the pre-specified accuracy in a fixed time. Meanwhile, all the closed-loop variables are bounded. Compared to some existing finite-time output feedback control schemes, the developed control strategy guarantees that the settling time and the error accuracy are independent of the uncertainties and can be specified by the designer. At last, the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed control scheme are demonstrated by two simulation examples.  相似文献

In this paper, an adaptive finite-time funnel control for non-affine strict-feedback nonlinear systems preceded by unknown non-smooth input nonlinearities is proposed. The input nonlinearities include backlash-like hysteresis and dead-zone. Unknown nonlinear functions are handled using fuzzy logic systems (FLS), based on the universal approximation theorem. An improved funnel error surface is utilized to guarantee the steady-state and transient predetermined performances while the differentiability problem in the controller design is averted. Using the Lyapunov approach, all the adaptive laws are extracted. In addition, an adaptive continuous robust term is added to the control input to relax the assumption of knowing the bounds of uncertainties. All the signals in the closed-loop system are shown to be semi-globally practically finite-time bounded with predetermined performance for output tracking error. Finally, comparative numerical and practical examples are provided to authenticate the efficacy and applicability of the proposed scheme.  相似文献

In this paper, a novel composite controller is proposed to achieve the prescribed performance of completely tracking errors for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems. The proposed controller contains a feedforward controller and a feedback controller. The feedforward controller is constructed by incorporating the prescribed performance function (PPF) and a state predictor into the neural dynamic surface approach to guarantee the transient and steady-state responses of completely tracking errors within prescribed boundaries. Different from the traditional adaptive laws which are commonly updated by the system tracking error, the state predictor uses the prediction error to update the neural network (NN) weights such that a smooth and fast approximation for the unknown nonlinearity can be obtained without incurring high-frequency oscillations. Since the uncertainties existing in the system may influence the prescribed performance of tracking error and the estimation accuracy of NN, an optimal robust guaranteed cost control (ORGCC) is designed as the feedback controller to make the closed-loop system robustly stable and further guarantee that the system cost function is not more than a specified upper bound. The stabilities of the whole closed-loop control system is certified by the Lyapunov theory. Simulation and experimental results based on a servomechanism are conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

To perform repetitive tasks, this paper proposes an adaptive boundary iterative learning control (ILC) scheme for a two-link rigid–flexible manipulator with parametric uncertainties. Using Hamilton?s principle, the coupled ordinary differential equation and partial differential equation (ODE–PDE) dynamic model of the system is established. In order to drive the joints to follow desired trajectory and eliminate deformation of flexible beam simultaneously, boundary control strategy is added based on the conventional joints torque control. The adaptive iterative learning algorithm for boundary control scheme includes a proportional-derivative (PD) feedback structure and an iterative term. This novel controller is designed to deal with the unmodeled dynamics and other unknown external disturbances. Numerical simulations are provided to verify the performance of proposed controller in MATLAB.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with an event-triggered adaptive fault-tolerant problem for an uncertain non-affine system. The implicit function theorem and mean value theorem are utilized to transform a non-affine system into an affine one, and an extended state observer and a tracking differentiator are used to estimate unknown dynamics and the derivative of virtual control laws, respectively. Adaptive laws are designed for unknown faults, and an event-triggered control scheme with a time-varying threshold, based on a tracking error and adaptive parameters, is developed. The tracking error is steered to converge to a bounded set with the help of a predefined performance function, and its transient performance is improved despite of faults. The stability of the closed-loop system is analyzed by the theorem of the input-to-state practically stability, and the Zeno behavior is excluded. Finally, two examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.  相似文献

In this paper, a novel adaptive control scheme is investigated based on the backstepping design for a class of stochastic nonlinear systems with unmodeled dynamics and time-varying state delays. The radial basis function neural networks are used to approximate the unknown nonlinear functions obtained by using Ito differential formula and Young?s inequality. The unknown time-varying delays and the unmodeled dynamics are dealt with by constructing appropriate Lyapunov–Krasovskii functions and introducing available dynamic signal. It is proved that all signals in the closed-loop system are bounded in probability and the error signals are semi-globally uniformly ultimately bounded (SGUUB) in mean square or the sense of four-moment. Simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed design.  相似文献

In this study, a new robust homography-based visual tracking control approach for the quadrotor unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is developed. Specifically, employing the homography matrix as feedback, a hierarchical homography-based visual servoing (HBVS) scheme with a new command attitude extraction method to account for the underactuation of UAV is proposed. On this basis, a smooth hyperbolic tangent function is fulfilled as an augmented part of the backstepping control scheme, which guarantees the non-negative total thrust and avoid singularity. Additionally, a cascaded filter-based estimator and adaptive laws with integrable functions are embedded to counteract uncertainties including external perturbations, unknown acceleration of the moving target, and unknown image depth, and to facilitate the system’s asymptotic stability simultaneously. The theoretical analysis testifies that the whole close-loop system is asymptotically stable. Simulations further verify that the proposed HBVS controller can realize the visual tracking with a superior performance.  相似文献

This study focuses on the control of islanded photovoltaic (PV) microgrid and design of a controller for PV system. Because the system operates in islanded mode, the reference voltage and frequency of AC bus are provided by the energy storage system. We mainly designed the controller for PV system in this study, and the control objective is to control the DC bus voltage and output current of PV system. First, a mathematical model of the PV system was set up. In the design of PV system controller, command-filtered backstepping control method was used to construct the virtual controller, and the final controller was designed by using sliding mode control. Considering the uncertainty of circuit parameters in the mathematical model and the unmodeled part of PV system, we have integrated adaptive control in the controller to achieve the on-line identification of component parameters of PV system. Moreover, fuzzy control was used to approximate the unmodeled part of the system. In addition, the projection operator guarantees the boundedness of adaptive estimation. Finally, the control effect of designed controller was verified by MATLAB/Simulink software. By comparing with the control results of proportion-integral (PI) and other controllers, the advanced design of controller was verified.  相似文献

This paper proposes an adaptive approximation design for the decentralized fault-tolerant control for a class of nonlinear large-scale systems with unknown multiple time-delayed interaction faults. The magnitude and occurrence time of the multiple faults are unknown. The function approximation technique using neural networks is employed to adaptively compensate for the unknown time-delayed nonlinear effects and changes in model dynamics due to the faults. A decentralized memoryless adaptive fault-tolerant (AFT) control system is designed with prescribed performance bounds. Therefore, the proposed controller guarantees the transient performance of tracking errors at the moments when unexpected changes of system dynamics occur. The weights for neural networks and the bounds of residual approximation errors are estimated by using adaptive laws derived from the Lyapunov stability theorem. It is also proved that all tracking errors are preserved within the prescribed performance bounds. A simulation example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed AFT control scheme.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the high performance adaptive robust control problem for an aircraft load emulator (LE). High dynamic capability is a key performance index of load emulator. However, physical load emulators exist a lot of nonlinearities and modeling uncertainties, which are the main obstacles for achieving high performance of load emulator. To handle the modeling uncertainty and achieve adjustable model-based compensation, firstly, the mathematical model of the load emulator is built, and then a nonlinear adaptive robust controller only with output feedback signal is proposed to improve the tracking accuracy and dynamic response capability. The controller is constructed based on the adaptive robust control framework with necessary design modifications required to accommodate uncertainties and nonlinearities of hydraulic load emulator. In this approach, nonlinearities are canceled by output feedback signal; and modeling errors, including parametric uncertainties and uncertain nonlinearities, are dealt with adaptive control and robust control respectively. The resulting controller guarantees a prescribed disturbance attenuation capability in general while achieving asymptotic output tracking in the absence of time-varying uncertainties. Experimental results are obtained to verify the high performance nature of the proposed control strategy, especially the high dynamic capability.  相似文献
