This paper is concerned with the stability problem of nonlinear multiple time-delay singularly perturbed (NDSP) systems. To overcome the effect of modeling error between the reduced-order model of the NDSP plant and Takagi–Sugeno (T–S) fuzzy models, a robustness design of model-based fuzzy control is proposed in this study. A stability criterion in terms of Lyapunov’s direct method is derived to guarantee the asymptotic stability of NDSP systems. According to this criterion, a model-based fuzzy controller is then synthesized via the technique of parallel distributed compensation (PDC) to stabilize the NDSP system. If the designed fuzzy controller cannot stabilize the NDSP system, a high-frequency signal, commonly referred to as dither, is simultaneously introduced to stabilize it. Based on the relaxed method, the NDSP system can be stabilized by regulating appropriately the parameters of dither. If the dither’s frequency is high enough, the output of the dithered reduced system and that of its corresponding mathematical model – the relaxed reduced system – can be made as close as desired. This makes it possible to obtain a rigorous prediction of the stability of the dithered reduced system based on the one of the relaxed reduced system.  相似文献

A new method for obtaining reduced order models for single-input-single-output, continuous-time systems is presented. The proposed algorithm matches the transfer functions of the original and the reduced system at 2M points where M is the order of the reduced model. The location of these points depends on a parameter which can be selected to control the accuracy of the approximation and stability. Numerical examples and comparisons with other methods of model reduction are given.  相似文献

For continuous-time nonlinear systems represented by Takagi–Sugeno fuzzy models, a new H reduced-order-observer based controller synthesis structure is investigated in this paper. By the fuzzy reduced-order observer and fuzzy controller, an augmented error system composed of the estimation and control errors is obtained. The fuzzy modeling residual terms are seen as part of the external disturbance, and an extra design matrix is added to facilitate the design process. The robustness and stability conditions are given based on Lyapunov function approach, then the conditions are transformed into convex form to facilitate the numerical solving process. Finally, by the comparison with existing methods in simulation section, the control performance and conservativeness reduction effects of the proposed methods are verified.  相似文献

This paper aims to solve the problem of sliding mode control for an uncertain two-dimensional (2-D) systems with states having time-varying delays. The uncertainties in the system dynamics are constituted of mismatched uncertain parameters and the unknown nonlinear bounded function. The proposed problem utilizes the model transformation approach. By segregating the proper Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional in concert with the improved version of Wirtinger-based summation inequality, sufficient solvability conditions for the existence of linear switching surfaces have been put forward, which ensure the asymptotical stability of the reduced-order equivalent sliding mode dynamics. Then, we solve the controller synthesis problem by extending the recently proposed reaching law to 2-D systems, whose proportional part is appropriately scaled by the factor that does not depend on some constant terms but rather on current switching surface’s value, which in turn ensures the faster convergence and better robustness against uncertainties. Finally, the proposed results have been validated through an implementation to a suitable physical system.  相似文献

In this paper, moment matching model reduction problem for negative imaginary systems is considered. For a given negative imaginary system with poles at the origin, our goal is to find a reduced-order negative imaginary system such that a prescribed number of the moments and the poles at the origin are preserved. Firstly, the original negative imaginary system is split into an asymptotically stable subsystem, a lossless negative imaginary subsystem and an average subsystem. Then, moment matching model reduction is implemented on the asymptotically stable subsystem and the lossless negative imaginary subsystem. The resulting reduced-order system preserves the negative imaginary structure and the poles at the origin. Also, the proposed model reduction method is extended to the positive real systems. Numerical examples demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed model reduction method.  相似文献

In this study, H full-order and reduced-order observers are designed for a class of linear parameter-varying (LPV) systems with one-sided Lipschitz nonlinearities and disturbances. Parameter-dependent Lyapunov function is used to analyze the robust stability of the proposed observers. Three practical examples are used to demonstrate the usefulness of the proposed observers. Simulation and experimental results indicate that the proposed observers work well.  相似文献

In this paper, we present a new method in the reduction of large-scale linear differential-algebraic equation (DAE) systems. The approach is to first change the DAE system into a parametric ordinary differential equation (ODE) system via the ε-embedding technique. Next, based on parametric moment matching, we give the parameterized model order reduction (MOR) method to reduce this parametric system, and a new Arnoldi parameterized method is proposed to construct the column-orthonormal matrix. From the reduced-order parametric system, we get the reduced-order DAE system, which can preserve the structure of the original DAE system. Besides, the parametric moment matching for the reduced-order parametric systems is analyzed. Finally, the effectiveness of our method is successfully illustrated via two numerical examples.  相似文献

细胞信号转导网络的结构复杂,规模庞大,建立的数学模型维数高,变量多,具有高度非线性。在复杂系统分析设计中,模型简化始终是主要的研究问题之一。提出一种基于混合推理方法的模型简化策略,利用代谢控制分析、敏感性分析、主元分析和通量分析相结合,降低系统模型维数,减少生化反应个数,简化系统结构。以NF-κB信号转导网络作为研究对象,原模型由24个常微分方程和64个参数组成,简化模型则包括17个常微分方程,1个代数方程和52个参数。仿真结果表明,简化模型能够准确地预测系统的动态特性,为模型分析和参数辨识提供方便,验证了模型简化策略的有效性。  相似文献

A numerical method is proposed for solving multi-dimensional hyperbolic–parabolic differential equations with the nonlocal boundary condition in t and Dirichlet and Neumann conditions in space variables. The first and second order of accuracy difference schemes are presented. The stability estimates for the solution and its first and second orders difference derivatives are established. A procedure of modified Gauss elimination method is used for solving these difference schemes in the case of a one-dimensional hyperbolic–parabolic differential equations with variable coefficients in x and two-dimensional hyperbolic–parabolic equation.  相似文献

The mathematical modeling of most physical systems, such as aerospace systems, heat processes, telecommunication systems, transmission lines and chemical reactors, results in complex high order models. The complexity of the models imposes a lot of difficulties in analysis, simulation and control designs. Several analytical model reduction techniques have been proposed in literature over the past few decades to reduce these difficulties. However, most of the optimal techniques follow computationally demanding, time consuming, iterative procedures that usually result in non-robustly stable models with poor frequency response resemblance to the original high order model in some frequency ranges. Genetic Algorithm (GA) has proved to be an excellent optimization tool in the past few years. Therefore, the aim of this paper will be to use GA to solve H2 and H norm model reduction problems, and help obtain globally optimized nominal models.  相似文献

A two-step iterative method (1,2) for a reduction in the order of linear continuous-time systems, given in the state equation or the transfer function, is extended to reduce discrete-time systems. The method requires the optimization of the residues and eigenvalues (or poles) belonging to an objective function. The objective function to be minimized is chosen as the finite sum of the squares of the error between the step responses of the reduced model and the original system. This scheme is continued cyclically until the objective function is satisfactorily minimized. By investigating the initial selection of the eigenvalues in the reduced-order model, it is found that the dominant eigenvalues of the original system give a good approximation. Further, the resulting model is always stable, assuming the original system is stable. As shown in a numerical example, the proposed method is superior to the other methods of model reduction in both steady-state and transient responses, and in the value of the sum of the squares of the error.  相似文献

The problem of reduced-order modelling is considered in connection with the design of restricted complexity controllers. The suggested reduction method develops in two phases: (i) a simple frequency response of the overall feedback control system is determined according to the design specifications; (ii) a reduced-order transference of the controlled plant is obtained by solving a linear set of equations in such a way that its behaviour approximates that of the original plant at frequencies which are meaningful for the overall transfer function derived in the first step (e.g. resonance and cutoff frequencies). An example shows how the procedure yields a reduced-order model suitable for designing robust controllers whereas other standard methods, based on properties of the plant only, fail.  相似文献

Though over the years, mathematical modelling of fuzzy PID controllers is carried out extensively with two-dimensional and three-dimensional input spaces, the modelling is rarely attempted using one-dimensional input space. In this paper, this gap is reduced by proposing a simple approach where each of the fuzzy P, fuzzy I, and fuzzy D components is modelled using one-dimensional input space and merged to provide the complete PID action. Another speciality of the proposed approach is that it does not require any AND or OR operator for obtaining the mathematical models of individual PID components. To the best of author’s knowledge, such a modelling approach is completely new. This newly introduced idea of modelling is further extended to fractional order fuzzy PID controllers. Applicability of the proposed fuzzy controllers is delineated with four simulation examples and one real-time experimentation case study. To understand the usefulness of the proposed control schemes, performances of the newly obtained controllers are compared with the results available in literature. As the proposed controllers are model-free controllers, they can easily be implemented for other control applications also.  相似文献

This paper investigates hybrid observer design of a class of unknown input switched nonlinear systems. The distinguishing feature of the proposed method is that the stability of all subsystems of the error switched systems is not necessarily required. First, an output derivative-based method and time-varying coordinate transformation are considered to eliminate the unknown input. Then in order to maintain a satisfactory estimation performance, an impulsive full-order and switched reduced-order observer are developed with a pair of upper and lower dwell time bounds and constructing time-varying Lyapunov functions combined with convex combination technique. In addition, the time-varying Lyapunov functions method is also used to analyze the stability of a class of error switched nonlinear systems with stable subsystems. Finally, two examples are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

An algorithm, amenable for programming on a digital computer, has been presented for the modelling of linear discrete-time systems, as an alternative to the procedure of Shamash (1). The transformations inherent in the procedure are easily accomplished by the synthetic division technique. With the use of modified Cauer form of continued fraction (MCF), the new method matches a set of both the time-moments and Markov parameters of the system and of the model, as in the procedure of Parthasarathy and Singh (2), giving a better approximation to the system response at all times. A distinct feature of the proposed algorithm compared with the earlier methods of discrete system reduction (1),(2), is that a number of reduced-order models are generated simultaneously; this allows scope for better selection in choosing the right model for system analysis and design.  相似文献

Traditionally, recommender systems for the web deal with applications that have two dimensions, users and items. Based on access data that relate these dimensions, a recommendation model can be built and used to identify a set of N items that will be of interest to a certain user. In this paper we propose a multidimensional approach, called DaVI (Dimensions as Virtual Items), that consists in inserting contextual and background information as new user–item pairs. The main advantage of this approach is that it can be applied in combination with several existing two-dimensional recommendation algorithms. To evaluate its effectiveness, we used the DaVI approach with two different top-N recommender algorithms, Item-based Collaborative Filtering and Association Rules based, and ran an extensive set of experiments in three different real world data sets. In addition, we have also compared our approach to the previously introduced combined reduction and weight post-filtering approaches. The empirical results strongly indicate that our approach enables the application of existing two-dimensional recommendation algorithms in multidimensional data, exploiting the useful information of these data to improve the predictive ability of top-N recommender systems.  相似文献

This paper investigates the standard H performance for a class of switched linear systems with time-varying delay in the framework of the delay-dependent/delay-independent minimum dwell time. For the studied systems, we first construct two types of multiple time-varying Lyapunov functionals, and then obtain the sufficient conditions by restricting the decay of the Lyapunov functional of the active subsystem and forcing “energy” of the overall switched system to decrease at switching instants by the proposed Lyapunov functionals to guarantee standard L2-gain performance meanwhile ensuring their internal stability with minimum dwell time switching. Finally, two examples are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed results.  相似文献

This paper deals with the problem of iterative learning control algorithm for a class of multi-agent systems with distributed parameter models. And the considered distributed parameter models are governed by the parabolic or hyperbolic partial differential equations. Based on the framework of network topologies, a consensus-based iterative learning control protocol is proposed by using the nearest neighbor knowledge. When the iterative learning control law is applied to the systems, the consensus errors between any two agents on L2 space are bounded, and furthermore, the consensus errors on L2 space can converge to zero as the iteration index tends to infinity in the absence of initial errors. Simulation examples illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

In this paper, we present necessary and sufficient stability and robust stability conditions for two-dimensional (2D) systems described by the Fornasini-Marchesini (FM) second model in terms of the discriminant systems of polynomial. This paper simplifies the traditional method of stability into a tractable method by the fractional linear transformation (FLT). More specifically, we reduce the stability analysis to a easy issue whether some polynomials are positive definite. Then we use the same idea to consider the stabilization and robust stabilization issues. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed results is demonstrated by a practical example and two numerical examples.  相似文献
