为了进一步总结、交流课程改革中有关课程教学评价的新经验和理论研究成果,探讨评价中的疑难问题,切实提高课程教学评价的理论水平和实际应用功能,海峡两岸的教育同行于2006年4月在天津召开了课程教学评价学术研讨会。研讨会的主题是:课程教学评价的理论与实践探索。代表们研讨的议题主要有四方面:课程评价的现状与展望;课程评价的基本问题;有效课堂教学的评价标准;课程教学评价与教师专业发展研究。会议经过两天的热烈而富有创见的研讨取得了丰硕成果。  相似文献

在课程论学科建设与发展方向上,代表认为:对课程本质的再认识,是课程论学科建设和发展的内在要求;课程论的学科性质、功用和价值取向需要同时关注两方面的需求,既能科学分析课程改革中出现的问题,又能切实有效地解决课程实践中遇到的难题;课程研究和教学研究作为一种理性认识形态,课程论和教学论作为知识形态,两者之间倒是可以用“整合”一词。在课程设计方面,代表们提出两种设计观,即体现课程根本属性的课程设计观和校本化的课程设计观。课程实施在内涵和外延上比教学宽泛,课程实施受课程制度和课程意识等隐性因素影响,课程实施不应在一种取向下探讨不同取向的课程实施问题,重要的是要依据“是否满足学生的需要并且有利于促进学生的发展”这一标准来对课程实施进行价值判断。针对课程评价存在的现状和问题,课程评价研究者和实践者需要进一步做好理论研究、加强地方和学校的课程评价、制订有效的课程评价标准、建立合理的课程评价机制以及加强对话和协商等工作。在教师专业发展上,要理性面对教师专业发展存在的问题,积极深化对教师专业发展的认识,科学探索教师专业发展的路径。  相似文献

As a result of the changes to school administration and curriculum in New Zealand over the last ten years, primary teachers have had to make significant changes to their assessment practices. This paper briefly reviews literature relating to the competing discourses of assessment that underpin teachers' practices and describes how the changes to New Zealand education have provoked a reconsideration of the balance between formative and summative assessment. It then reports findings from a qualitative investigation into how some primary teachers have attempted to accommodate these competing discourses and the effects these have had on their teaching practice. These results are discussed in light of the research literature and suggestions for changing national and school policies and practices to prioritise assessment for better learning over accountability conclude the paper. 教师的评价观作为教师观念的重要分支,成了当今世界各国学生评价改革中倍受关注的主题。国外围绕教师评价观的类型和结构、影响教师评价观形成的因素、教师评价观与评价实践的关系、教师评价观与学生评价观的比较展开了研究,获得了数量较为丰富的实证发现。然而尽管已有的研究成绩斐然,但仍存在着有待进一步开拓与深入研究的问题。分析这些问题对我国教师评价观研究的主要启示是:一方面需要全面拓展研究领域,另一方面应综合使用多种研究方法。  相似文献

This paper reports on research into two teachers' views and practices about assessment at the classroom level. Emphasis was given to practical work and its assessment. Findings suggest it is unhelpful to define practical work as distinct from other activities in the science classroom. Various methods used for assessing activity within the participant teachers' classrooms are described. The participant teachers were found to be primarily concerned about issues of ‘fairness’: task validity, reliability of assessment based on co-operative work and assessment of the affective domain. The place of teacher intuition in assessment is raised and briefly discussed. Directions for the ongoing research are foreshadowed. The increasing emphasis on accountability in early care and education has created an opportunity for programs to revisit their child assessment practices. This article presents a model for using authentic assessment practices to document children’s progress toward a set of program standards, specifically the Head Start Child Outcomes Framework, as well as describe how authentic assessment processes can inform curriculum planning. 为了解特殊学校校长在教师绩效评估实践中所关心的具体问题,采用开放式问卷和焦点小组讨论两种方式,对30名特殊学校校长进行调查。结果发现,当前特殊学校校长最为关心的具体问题主要有"评估指标难以操作和量化"、"评估指标没有照顾不同岗位工作性质的差异"、"评估没有能从实质上激励和促进教师的专业发展"等。建议特殊学校将绩效评估目的主要定位于促进教师发展,基于工作分析构建评估指标体系,并在评估过程中注重多主体的参与。  相似文献

This paper analyses some of the difficulties involved in implementing the recently approved Basic Education Program for primary and secondary education in Sierra Leone. Among some of the problems and difficulties that are discussed and analysed are funding, training and retention of teachers, curriculum reform, language development, equipment and supplies, and evaluation. To effectively implement the new program, teachers' conditions of service, salary, and allowances need to be carefully examined. This analysis will attempt to examine such issues based on empirical data. The article also makes a critical examination of the new continuous assessment system. The paper concludes that political stability is an important factor in the implementation of basic education.  相似文献

在教师专业化思潮的推动下,特殊教育教师专业化问题不容回避。本文在综合教师专业化一般概念和特殊教育特点的基础上,提出特殊教育教师专业化内涵:包括掌握科学系统的知识,有效解决实际问题,有充分的专业自主权、恪守职业道德四个方面。从专业化的角度审视当今我国特教师资培养的目标、模式和课程设置存在的问题,并提出相应的对策:完善培养目标,实行课程分层和分流,增强课程实用性,力求课程综合化,加强行动研究能力的培养等。  相似文献

通过对中国西部地区162名中小学教师对评价一堂好课标准的问卷调查,结果表明:新课程倡导的教学理念得到部分体现;教师理想的评价标准和现实的评价标准之间存在差距;一堂课的评价标准具有一定的结构,指向善于讲解、设计环境、调动学生、运用手段、选择目标五个维度,学段、学科、性别、年龄对教师的评课标准不存在显著影响。  相似文献

This paper is an examination of statewide district writing achievement gain data from the Nebraska Statewide Writing Assessment system and implications for statewide assessment writing models. The writing assessment program is used to gain compliance with the United States No Child Left Behind Law (NCLB), a federal effort to influence school district assessment and accountability. While the research literature is mixed with some viewing statewide writing assessment as narrowing writing curriculum and “standardizing” writing, others point out that it facilitates sharing between teachers to improve writing and teachers are empowered by their participation in the process.Nebraska's Statewide Writing Assessment, based on the six-trait model, has strong support from teachers regarding their perception of the assessment in supporting teaching practices and student success. Examination of achievement gain data revealed gains in 4th, 8th, and 11th grades in the average number of students rated proficient from one administration of the assessment to the next.Implications for educational practice, recommendations for future research, and relevant related issues (NCLB concerns and measurement issues) are discussed.  相似文献

In this commentary, I discuss the science of professional development. A great deal is already known about how to provide professional development that supports teachers' implementation of evidence-based practices and the factors that enhance or inhibit teachers' sustained use of the practices. I summarize the work of researchers who have achieved some success in facilitating teachers' learning of new practices, highlighting my own research with colleagues. Professional development is known to be most successful when (a) researchers work closely with school districts, so that everyone is on the same page, and the practices that researchers are teaching are aligned with the district's curriculum and standards; (b) student outcome data showing that the practice works are provided to all; (c) administrative support is clearly evident; (d) long-term support is provided for teachers (including demonstrations and coaching); and (e) teachers take ownership of the practices and responsibility for mentoring their peers.  相似文献

Nebraska's Standards-based, Teacher-led Assessment and Reporting System (STARS) is unique in its focus on locally developed, classroom-based assessments in lieu of a state test. The purpose of this special issue is to introduce the STARS model and discuss the problems inherent in such a system. Other articles in this issue address issues of quality control and comparability of assessments, the development of teacher assessment literacy, and teachers' reactions to the implementation of STARS.  相似文献
