在期刊用稿合同的缔结过程中,稿约在法律性质上属于邀约邀请;期刊一旦与作者达成用稿合意,稿约内容就可以成为用稿合同的一部分。但是,稿约内容应当符合法律规定,也应当体现期刊与作者之间的权利平衡;期刊社不能利用自己的优势地位,用稿约条款对作者权利作不合理的限制。  相似文献

This study used a machine learning framework in conjunction with a large battery of measures from 9,718 school-age children (ages 9–11) from the Adolescent Brain Cognitive DevelopmentSM (ABCD) Study to identify factors associated with fluid cognitive functioning (FCF), or the capacity to learn, solve problems, and adapt to novel situations. The identified algorithm explained 14.74% of the variance in FCF, replicating previously reported socioeconomic and mental health contributors to FCF, and adding novel and potentially modifiable contributors, including extracurricular involvement, screen media activity, and sleep duration. Pragmatic interventions targeting these contributors may enhance cognitive performance and protect against their negative impact on FCF in children.  相似文献

An erratum has been published for this article in Psychology in the Schools 43(7) 2006, iii‐vi. [ ]. S.G. Little (1997) reported the top contributors to the school psychology literature from 1987 to 1995. The present study represents a follow‐up by examining the top contributors from 1996 to 2005. Similar to Little, a list of the top 50 contributors was developed using a point system that assigned more credit based on fewer coauthors and higher authorship placement. Expanding upon the Little study, we also computed a list of the top 50 contributors in terms of number of articles authored, thus facilitating a comparison of the two methods. Melissa Bray ranked first on both lists. The top 10 authors in terms of articles also were ranked in the top 13 in terms of points. Thus, for the most productive authors, choice of criteria for ranking does not appear important; however, in terms of encouraging versus discouraging collaboration among researchers, criteria choice may be important. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. My purpose is to raise a number of questions concerning the nature of what is being assessed and evaluated by the contributors to this Journal. I also wish to challenge a number of the assumptions concerning the concept of Higher Education which is implicit in the work of these contributors.

I will be arguing that important dimensions of Higher Education are being omitted from the Journal, not because they do not concern the contributors, but because of the prevailing view of knowledge in institutions of Higher Education. My particular concern is that the aesthetic dimensions of the concept of Higher Education are omitted from the Journal. I am thinking specifically of the quality of human relationship in education within which the unity of humanity is not violated.  相似文献

编辑删改作者的稿件,不应该看作编辑工作者的权力,它是出版单位赋予编辑工作者的应尽职责。编辑删改的所有内容,本质上都是编辑实施出版目的和审稿意见对作者的要求。由编辑工作者直接改稿,其实践理论建立在出版单位实施出版的效益原则上,因为从主客观条件上说,编辑比作者本人更能贯彻文化传媒对稿本的修改意图,或者是传播的效益要求在时间上不容许翻来覆去地由作者完成修改。修改稿件应保障作者的著作权,这就要求编辑工作者不仅有较高的编辑学养,而且要有尊重作者、科学严谨的编辑作风。  相似文献

In this article we report on our review of articles published in the Community College Journal of Research and Practice (CCJRP) from 1990 to 2000 regarding certain underrepresented populations. Using the data and perspectives provided by CCJRP contributors, we show how dominant culture privilege and assimilation characterize various aspects of community college culture. We also identify specific problems noted by CCJRP contributors and describe their recommendations to counter the marginalization and underrepresentation of selected racial, ethnic, and cultural minorities on campus.  相似文献

Action learning involves balancing the often conflicting forces between working knowledge and academic knowledge. This paper explores the experience of executive learners; academics and external contributors involved in action learning at the postgraduate level. The executive learners are members of cohorts on two masters programmes based in Ireland. The programmes adopt an action learning methodology. Action learning supports a reflective culture for the executive learners and an enriched understanding of their workplace. The challenges associated with action learning are explored. The understanding of best practice in the facilitation of action learning for executive learners is enriched for practitioners and academics. The use of narrative structuring provides an insight into the reality of action learning for executive learners. If action learning is to be successfully integrated into executive education, then there needs to be high levels of communication, commitment and trust between the executive learners; academics and external contributors.  相似文献

The main themes developed during the Conference are introduced, and the contributors, evoked. What motivated the holding of the Conference and the particular choice of contributors is the very poor economic climate in Europe occurring at a time when university enrollments are undergoing unprecedented expansion. University student counsellors, who are expected to serve as a kind of interface between the outside world and the university, have as their primary task that of helping students, who seek their services, to cope, to develop survival skills, to benefit from the academic side of their studies, all while preparing a niche for themselves on the outside.
