This paper presents the analysis of domestic journals on nanotechnologies for 1998–2011. Data collection was performed using the Google.ru search system on the internet sites of the leading Russian libraries: the Russian State Library (RSL), State Public Scientific Technical Library of Russia (SPSTL), eLIBRARY.RU, OJSC Rospechat’ and Periodicals.com, as well as Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communication. The following parameters are analyzed: the title of a journal, the first year of publication, a publishing organization, subject sphere, and the periodicity of publication. The goal of the research is to determine the appearance, development, and modern state of the journal system on nanotechnologies as a new discipline in Russia.  相似文献

The main factors that currently contribute to the increase of the vulnerability of computer information are considered. The dynamics of a number of promising scientific research areas in the field of information security (cryptography, computer steganography, and biometric information-protection systems) are analyzed based on Russian and foreign publications from VINITI databases over the past decade. The obtained data to a certain extent reflect the direction of the development of these research areas, which is defined by corresponding publication streams.  相似文献

The results of an analysis of the international flow of periodical and proceedings publications in different priority areas (the nanosystem industry and materials, information-telecommunication systems, rational wildlife management, and power and power conservation) and of critical technologies entering into them are presented. As the main sources of the information on foreign and Russian databases (SCOPUS, Current Contents. CSA, Ulrich’s Periodicals Directory, RZH VINITI, and the Russian Academy of Sciences) open scientific Internet resources were used. For correctness, a separate preparation of the terminological base of each subject area was made. Lists of publications on the detailed publishing and data about the availability of access to them on various Internet platforms were compiled as a result. The characteristics of the most important electronic resources for each area are given. The publishing houses and companies responsible for the major publications on the considered subjects not accessible at present to the Russian scientific community through widely known consortia (NEIKON and the Russian Federal Property Fund) are revealed.  相似文献

Solar cells of the third generation (after the bulk and thin-film ones that are mainly based on inorganic semiconductors, mostly of silicon) use the leading technologies of the 21st century, including nanotechnologies based on nanomaterials, mainly based on nano-structured or ultrafine inorganic semiconductors, graphene, fullerenes, as well as polymers and low-molecular-weight organic semiconductors. This paper compares the results of an analysis of publications on solar cells, mainly nanostructured and nanoscale cells, that are reflected in the RZh Fizika VINITI RAN and included in the Web of Science database.  相似文献

Based on the analysis of a range of key publications in the area of nanoenergy, which, among other journals, were reflected in the Physics of Nanoobjects and Nanotechnology issue of the peer-reviewed journal that was published by the All-Russia Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of the Russian Academy of Sciences (VINITI RAS) in the 2000–2012 period, key areas of research in this field are analyzed from the perspective of physics. The citation indexes of the key publications, the geographic origins of their authors, and the demand for nanoenergy products are presented. This paper presents the results of a new method that is applied for a multidimensional analysis of the publications, patents, and authors of the related arrays of documents that are prepared under thematically similar projects that are supported by a science foundation. The contribution to and impact of various groups of scientists on the results of these projects are analyzed. Specifically, it is established that Russian scientists that work abroad (expatriates) play an important role in improving the scientific level of domestic research and in engaging domestic and foreign scientists in such research investigations. The data on the distribution of publications, patents, and authors by domestic and foreign organizations and cities, as well as by subjects of the Russian Federation and foreign countries, are obtained and analyzed.  相似文献

A comparative analysis of the thematic scope of publications in the literature focusing on graphene in the period between 2010 and the first half of 2011 is conducted. The development patterns for physics of graphene are highlighted. Hotspots and emerging trends are outlined in this area, based on the analysis of publications in volumes 1–12 of the 2010 edition and volumes 1–6 of the 2011 edition of the peer-reviewed journal The Physics of Nanoobjects and Nanotechnologies published by the All Union Institute for Scientific and Technical Information of the Russian Academy of Sciences (VINITI RAS).  相似文献

Changes that are occurring in the information space of science are discussed. It is shown that global trends in this area, first of all the internetization of scientific communication and dissemination of open access to scientific publications, led to the occurrence of new methods of Scientometrics, namely, webometrics. Global and domestic webometric methods for creating indexes are described. The features of the Russian webometric index are listed. We conclude that the creation of a more complete and differentiated national index along with the world webometric index is advisable for adequate monitoring of the electronic resources of Russian science. Use of the experience of the Institute of Scientific and Educational Information of the Russian Academy of Education as a platform of the national experience index is proposed.  相似文献

The selection and acquisition of contemporary research-quality Russian and Soviet history imprints from Russia is presenting increasingly formidable challenges for institutions with mandates to collect and preserve this category of material. This situation promises to worsen, as, increasingly, the administration of the Russian Federation appears to be preparing to enforce an official historiographic agenda. The agenda, inferred over the past several years by many professional observers and interpreters of the Russian administration’s words and deeds, is to promote a view of the country’s twentieth-century history which reactivates World War II-era nationalist narratives, justifies a centralized authoritarian model of government, and cultivates a sense of estrangement from the West. Anticipating that high-level historical scholarship on particular aspects of Russian history might become an endangered genre in the Russian publishing arena—and that such publications might become increasingly difficult to identify and acquire—collectors should begin strategizing for a potentially challenging marketplace.  相似文献

A study was undertaken at Montana State University Libraries to determine if missing and mutilation rates differed between monographs in the general collection and U.S. Geological Survev publications. Prior to this investigation, it was assumed that there might be a higher rate of items missing from the collection of U.S. Geological Survey publications than from the general collection and that there would take a greater incidence of mutilation among the U.S.G.S. materials. Items were chosen according to a random sample and the resulting data analyzed using a Chi-square test for significance at the .05 level. Contrary to the investigator's initial assumptions, it was found that U.S.G.S. Bulletins and Professional Papers were not mutilated more often than monographs in the general collection, and that there is no statistically significant difference in rates of availabilily. Additional evidence encountered in the course of the study suggests that the U.S.G.S. publications may be used much less frequently than other library materials. Recommendations are made for further research concerning use and accessibility. The methodology used in this investigation is potentially applicable to many other types of collection studies.  相似文献

The review of the research of the Open-Access system of journals and its advantages and disadvantages are presented. The bibliometric analysis was carried out for the array of Russian papers published in the journals of the Gold Open Access system and reflected in the SCI-E database for 2008–2017. The results of the analysis of the publication activity showed that, despite the high payments for papers, there was a steady increase in the share of Russian publications in such journals compared to the overall publication activity of Russia: from 7.8% in 2008 to 13.7% in 2017. This is largely due to active international cooperation of Russian organizations with funding agencies from the United States (31%), Germany (29%), and other industrialized countries. Analysis of the array of Gold OA publications in large research areas made it possible to establish a significant difference in its structure compared to the general array of publications in Russia. As an example, the most important scientific field in the world, Research Area Scientific Technologies, was ranked the third in comparison with the ninth rank in the general array.russian scientists widely use high-quality foreign journals of the Gold OA system, which includes one Russian journal, Solid State Physics.  相似文献

Additional information obtained by means of the Rambler, Yandex, and Google web search engines is added to the data on the collection formation of the Library of the Russian Academy of Sciences from 1714 to 1736, which was published in LRAS Chronicles, vol. 1. The significance of the private libraries that formed the basis for the formation of the collection of BAN until 1737 is characterized.
