信息可视化是常用的数据挖掘方法之一,它通过把海量的数据转化成可视化的形式让人们更容易观察、浏览和理解信息,并且找到数据中隐藏的模式。目前,国家已经建立海量的科技文献资源,但仅限于查询、浏览、全文传递等服务,没有得到充分的开发利用。本文介绍了利用信息可视化技术科技文献资源进行深度挖掘的方法,并介绍了一种监测模型CiteSpaceⅡ,它可以对科技文献中涌现的趋势和临时模式进行监测和可视化。最后总结出了利用信息可视化技术对科技文献资源进行深度挖掘的一般步骤和常用的开发工具。 相似文献

以WoS数据库中2004~2013年间"信息可视化(IV)"主题领域的核心研究性文献为研究对象,采用文献计量分析、可视化展示、聚类分析和内容分析相结合的方法对蕴含在IV主题文献中的多学科知识结构进行了深入挖掘和分析。从发文国家和地区、发文学术机构、发文关键作者角度探索了IV主题领域空间维度的知识结构,发现在IV主题的理论研究方面,除美国这个绝对优势国外,欧洲的德国、英国、法国、荷兰、西班牙、意大利,北美的加拿大,亚洲的中国、日本、韩国等也是此领域理论研究的重要输出国。这些国家和来自于这些国家的活跃的研究机构和作者共同构成了IV主题知识结构中关于研究主体(国家、机构、人等)的核心节点。从高频关键词的聚类演进分析和突变性短语的图谱解析中探究了IV主题中关于研究热点和未来发展趋势的知识结构。研究发现,除信息管理学、计算机科学外,IV主题的研究已拓展至生物学、医学、地理学、材料学、化学、地质学、社会学、历史学等众多学科,信息可视化理论和方法得到不断完善和丰富,信息可视化技术已被要求从最开始的静态的粗粒度可视化水平慢慢向实时动态的高精度水平发展。 相似文献

为了方便地对大量的数字化信息进行搜索,需要新的内容描述方法。本文介绍了几个例子和原型系统,它们指明了信息可视化技术如何被应用于内容描述。信息可视化技术使可视化内容地图可以自动生成。这些地图抽取和定义信息模型、种类和作者、概念以及其它信息实体之间的关系。这些地图还支持多种多样的交互功能,用于用户探索概念关系和隐含的信息。本文还提出了关于内容测度、内容结构和内容与内容结构的可视化显示的许多问题。我们相信,理解这些问题对于信息访问语义地图是一个显著的进步。 相似文献

The complexity and size of geospatial data can constrain the capabilities of service providers and create risks to the long-term preservation and archiving of valuable information assets. While services-oriented architectures such as the Earth Data Analysis Center's Geographic Storage, Transformation and Retrieval Engine (GSToRE) facilitate increased use and impact of geospatial data by mitigating these complexities by development of dynamic applications and interfaces, such services can often be primarily focused on the maintenance and delivery of only the most current versions of geospatial data that may nonetheless possess significant historical, cultural, or scientific value. Actions and documentation required to assure long-term preservation may not be supported by existing business models or may be otherwise compromised. However, general purpose archives offer a preservation capability that is complementary to the value created by dynamic service providers. We present an overview of the features of GSToRE, and the DSpace repository platform and describe the requirements of a methodology for the harvest, quality assurance, and ingest of geospatial data into an institutional repository as a complement to the dynamic data access and visualization services provided by GSToRE and systems like it. 相似文献

ABSTRACT For many decades, the Department of Energy (DOE) has been an international leader in basic scientific and engineering research that utilizes geospatial science to advance the state of knowledge in disciplines impacting national security, energy sustainability, environmental stewardship, and associated basic research. However, the realized benefits from cross-cutting geospatial science contributions have fallen short of what they could have been with greater collaboration across the DOE complex, stronger emphasis on core geographic information science (GIScience) research and development to support advanced applications, increased strategic institutional support (e.g., for management of legacy data), and additional education and outreach concerning how geospatial science can benefit DOE programs and operations. We propose a vision for DOE's geospatial science based on expanded collaboration to address major national problems, additional advanced GIScience research and development, and a long-term strategy to better manage DOE's geospatial science resources (personnel, facilities, shared data, etc.). 相似文献

The application of visualization techniques to information retrieval (IR) has resulted in the development of innovative systems and interfaces that are now available for public use. Visualization tools have emerged in research environments and more recently on the Web to retrieve information. Questions arise in regard to the utility of Web-based IR visualization tools for assisting users not only in manipulating search output, but also in managing the information retrieval process. To understand how Web-based visualization tools enable visual information retrieval, this article reviews some of the human perceptual theory behind the graphical interface of information visualization systems, analyzes iconic representations and information density on visualization displays, and examines information retrieval tasks that have been used in visualization system user research. Abstract Geospatial information access continues to be central to the mission of geography and map libraries. Providing or facilitating access has been, and continues to be, a dynamic process in light of both technological change and policy challenges. While technological changes in providing access have gathered much attention in the literature, substantive discussions regarding policies and practices preventing or assisting information access have been lacking. Even more troubling is the fact that archiving digital geospatial information receives even less attention. This first paper reviews developments and trends with regard to digital geospatial libraries, as this concept has become the primary metaphor by which access is measured. The second paper will focus on international trends related to the effect of policy and practice in terms of promoting the sharing and use of geospatial information needed to bridge gaps in access. These comparative policy and practice perspectives are also needed in order to point to the true promise held by new technologies for sharing, exemplified by digital libraries designed for geospatial information. 相似文献

文章运用Histcite引文索引分析软件,以Web of Science中的SSCI(Social Science Citation Index)为数据来源,以类别INFORMATION SCIENCE LIBRARY SCIENCE为研究对象,对2002年至2011年国际情报学与图书馆学研究的5 684篇文献进行引文分析,对结果进行对比研究并进行定量分析与可视化分析。研究结果表明,美国等西方国家是情报学与图书馆学研究的主要力量;文献中英语文献占主导地位;情报学与图书馆学研究的热点主要集中在数字图书馆、公共图书馆、图书馆的服务评价、图书馆2.0等领域。 相似文献
