韩国科技信息研究院（KISTI）是韩国科技信息服务的领军者,多年来在科技信息开发与流通、情报信息分析、高性能研究网络建设、超级计算机基地构建等领域取得了令人瞩目的成绩,也积累了丰富的实践经验。笔者于2009年9月受邀访问了KISTI,文章即在此次访问所感基础上,阐述了KISTI的职能定位、组织架构、服务方式与服务内容,并对KISTI科技信息服务的特点与经验进行了总结。该文为《数字图书馆论坛》2009年第12期本期话题“各国科技信息机构纵览”的文章之一。 相似文献

从编委、稿源、语言、流通4个方面调查韩国学术期刊的国际化状况,考察NRF、KOFST、KISTI等机构促进学术期刊国际化的一些具体政策措施。研究结果表明:韩国学术期刊总的国际化水准还比较低,但编委国际化、流通国际化方面相对较好,医学期刊国际化水准相对较高;韩国基本形成了一个较为完备的促进学术期刊国际化的支持系统,其期刊国际化资助计划涵盖了期刊的投稿、审稿/编辑、发行、流通等全过程。根据韩国学术期刊国际化进程的经验教训,提出了中国学术期刊国际化路径的建议。 相似文献

Although not commonly acknowledge, Information & Referral (I & R) services are now an integral feature of many public academic libraries. Two such special services offered in Hclm-Cravens Library, Western Kentucky University, illustrate this development. The Grants Information Center, which evolved from a Foundation Center Cooperative Collection, identifies funding sources for a wide variety of research and developmental projects for acadcrnic and public pakons. The Library's map collection performs a similar function with respect to nonlibrary sources of caitographic information and map products. The Medical Center Library contracted to provide bibliographic information services for the Tobacco and Health Research Institute of the University of Kentucky. This new department is now an integral part of the Medical Center Library providing reference and literature services in the tobacco and health area. Operating as a quasi-independent unit of the Medical Center Library, THIS (Tobacco and Health Information Services) functions separately in all areas of library operations, or more specifically, as a special library within a library. Its collection differs from that of most libraries in that it consists almost solely of periodical reprints instead of books and journals. The diversity of disciplines which tobacco and health literature encompasses has created the need for the development of a current awareness service for researchers. It is the belief of the author that there is a definite trend toward library collections such as THIS within larger medical libraries, as more institutes with special areas of interest are being formed. 相似文献

Despite the development of new information tools, thc interdisciplinary nature of aging research still hampers those in gerontology and geriatrics from accessing its information base. The University of Cincinnati Medical Center has combined five existing units into a new organization responsible for initiating an Integrated Academic Information Management System (IAIMS). This new organization, Medical Center Information and Communications, was reorganized into nine departments, which now provide a variety of information services. Ultimate goals for IAIMS include a patient-centered database, a decision-support system, and a knowledge network. The IAIMS prototype, currently under development for the University of Cincinnati Hospital's Internal Medicine Service, consists of components representative of the IAIMS model's ultimate goals. 第一届中日韩DOI项目合作讨论会于2013年5月30日在中国科学技术信息研究所成功举办,这也是第三届中日韩科技信息机构联席会议的专题讨论会。针对ISTIC、KISTI、JST三家的DOIRA职能,会议围绕DOIRA在科学数据管理与共享方面的共识,三家机构对各自的系统及其相关活动进行了较为深入的讨论。文章在概述本次会议的基础上,重点介绍中日韩目前的系统,即中文DOI、日本JaLC、韩国的P—CUBE,以及科学数据管理工作。最后,总结了三机构未来实施合作的意向。 相似文献
