从应用理科到“新工科”

当前高等教育"新工科"建设的讨论中,从"应用理科"延伸出"新工科"被认为是一种可行的方案。本文分析了"理科"和"工科"的关系和区别,并从此角度探讨了由上述方案可能引出的问题及其解决途径。文章指出,从"应用理科"衍生出来的"新工科"在教育教学上必须增加新的工科要素或"基因";其中特别强调了由"创造人所需的有用物"的"工程"定义及其"多源"的综合性质所引发的"设计"与"融合"在教学上的重要性。笔者阐述了北大早年尝试建设新工科的经验教训并对此加以了说明。结合新经济所要求的"四新",文章分析了"融合"在"新产业"中的作用,据此提出了在建设新工科的课程体系中贯彻"融合"的一些原则建议。同时,文章还阐述了实践对新工科教育的重要性,并就"学产研"结合之途做了多方探讨。  相似文献   

Disciplined freedom,branded authenticity,and dependable independence: how tensions enact flexibility in lifestyle blogging careers

Analyzing 219 blog posts from 52 self-employed women lifestyle bloggers in North America, this study shows how these digital professionals navigate tensions and communicatively constitute work flexibility. In their narratives, women bloggers employed tension management approaches such as reframing, continual connections, and reflective practice in response to tensions in enacting temporal–spatial, identity, and financial flexibility. Specifically, women followed oxymoronic constructions – disciplined freedom, branded authenticity, and dependable independence – to embrace and transform competing poles of fluidity?structure, authenticity?marketability, and independence?interconnection. Expanding work–life research to the self-employed digital labor context, this study responds to recent calls to uncover more-than tension management strategies in empirical settings and contributes to a tension-centered, contextual, and processual analysis of workplace flexibility construction.  相似文献   

Research trends and collaborations by applied science researchers in South African universities of technology: 2007–2017

This paper analyses the publication patterns of researchers in the field of applied sciences at Universities of Technology in South Africa. Aspects investigated include publications in SCOPUS-listed journals; number of citations and countries of publication. Collaborative research patterns at national and international levels were also investigated. A bibliometric analysis approach was followed using SCOPUS as the main source of data and analysing the articles published in selected applied science disciplines. Results show that researchers in the field of applied sciences in universities of technology have increased their number of publications over the past 10?years and are also working in conjunction with other researchers both nationally and internationally. The analysis is an important addition to the field in South Africa which helps in measuring how institutions are positively responding to government incentives in research. The results are also important to information professionals who are increasingly playing an important role in research impact assessments.  相似文献   

Extending Humor Enactment Research

Humor orientation (HO) is an individual difference variable that influences production and delivery of humorous communication. Prior research indicates that people who score higher on HO enact humor more frequently and effectively, which in turn leads to more benefits and advantages in a variety of social and psychological outcomes. Research reported here extends this line of analysis with HO for its relationship to a broad gauge measure of benefit, satisfaction with life, extending HO into understudied domains. This study compared Bulgarian adults (n = 100) to several American samples. Primary findings were that Bulgarians were similar to American samples overall but scored consistently higher than Americans on satisfaction with life (SWL). HO and SWL are correlated (r = .27), a medium effect size.  相似文献

文章运用比较诗学的方法，对郭沫若早期诗学与弗洛伊德精神分析美论和柏格森生命美学的影响／接受关系进行了讨论。文章认为，郭沫若早期对这两种思潮的接受都不是照单全收的，由于时代(现实)与文化传统的制约，再加上西方不同思潮的交叉影响，这两种思潮在郭沫若那里均已发生了这样那样的改变，这种改变隐含了诗学建构的某些规律性现象。文章以郭沫若早期对上述两种思潮的接受为个案，探讨的其实是一种新型诗学何以建构的问题。  相似文献   

Meaning in Life in College Students: Implications for College Counselors

The authors examined the relationship between meaning in life and college adjustment in a sample of 96 college students. In line with previous research on meaning in life and positive psychosocial functioning measures, presence of meaning was positively correlated with adjustment, whereas searching for meaning was negatively correlated with adjustment. However, the degree to which students were actively searching for meaning moderated the relationship between presence of meaning and adjustment. The authors examined the relationship between stress, adaptive coping, and life satisfaction among college students who reported having a friend or family member with eating disorder symptomatology. A hierarchical regression confirmed the study's hypotheses. Higher stress was linked with less life satisfaction. After stress was controlled, plan coping had a beneficial influence on life satisfaction. College counselors can use these findings when choosing interventions for clients who are close to someone with an eating disorder.  相似文献
