‘Who is zooming who’? A study of young PE-students in their figurations

The article presents an analysis of 93 essays written in an upper secondary school context. The essays were collected in relation to a larger research project, which went on for 5 years in a Danish upper secondary school (2010–2015). The material represents both genders and the students are 15–17 years old. We deploy a theoretical framework taken from Norbert Elias’ notion on established-outsider relations [Elias, N., &; Scotson, J. L. (1994 [1965]). The established and the outsiders. Oxford: Blackwell.]. We do this in an effort to interpret how young people negotiate ‘we-I-relations’ when it comes to their sporting identity. Elias’ processual framework provides a tool for a much needed analysis of how young people continually orientate and develop their sense of selves. The web of human interdependencies and processes of change are key words when it comes to understanding the social practices and doings of the students’ constructions of self-steering. The results of our research show that identity is a multiple concept and an ongoing process of emotional work [Elias, N. (1987). On human beings and their emotions: A process-sociological essay. 大学经典推荐书目的遴选标准与发展特点

[目的/意义] 经典阅读处于学生通识教育的核心环节，大学经典推荐书目在"读什么""怎么读"的核心教育环节发挥着重要作用。分析和确立大学经典推荐书目的遴选标准，探究其发展特点，对于优化经典书目编制、推动经典阅读，具有十分重要的意义。[方法/过程] 通过网络调研和电话访谈梳理部分"双一流"高校的官方经典推荐书目，分析我国高校经典推荐书目的产生过程与背景。[结果/结论] 大学经典推荐书目在遴选上重视中国传统经典，也注重借鉴西方经典；人文社会科学经典与自然科学经典遴选相对均衡；发掘元典书目新生，重视充实有价值的影响书目。同时，在阅读推广实践中，呈现出尊重阅读主体、重视首因效应发挥、丰富创新推介载体，以及差异化、层次化、定制化的发展特点，体现出高校党政领导的重视和图书馆的主动作为。  相似文献   

图书馆科普教育现状与发展路径探究——基于25个省市88家科普教育基地调查

[目的/意义] 图书馆肩负着实施科普教育的法定职责，拥有品种多样、内容丰富的科普文献与信息资源的图书馆，在开展科普教育方面具有得天独厚的优势。图书馆科普教育起步比较早，2005年，中国图书馆学会成立科普与阅读指导委员会；但在图书馆业界，科普教育只是零星的点缀式服务创新探索，尚未成为常态化服务项目。在依法治馆、创新发展的新时代，寻求图书馆科普教育发展路径具有较强理论和实践意义。[方法/过程] 通过互联网、微信等社交网络平台，对图书馆科普教育基地建设的状况进行调研，从基地等级、基地类型、基地数量、区域分布、有效期限以及认定依据等方面进行深入分析，并对图书馆实施科普教育提出发展路径以供选择。[结果/结论] 图书馆科普教育应坚持基地建设与科普服务相结合、阅读推广与全民科普相融合、科普与游学并举等策略，走设施、资源、服务"三位一体"的持续稳健协调发展之路。  相似文献

A Bioethos for Bodies: Respecting a Priceless Resource

The value that willed body donors provide to medical education is priceless. Their precious gift helps to teach anatomy, spatial relationships between morphological structures, anatomical variation, and professionalism to medical students in a way that plastic models, podcasts, and lectures cannot. They are also an important resource for medical research and a wide variety of postgraduate training opportunities. While many body donation programs throughout the world are nonprofit organizations, there are body donation companies in the United States that sell donors for-profit. These “body brokers” have accumulated large profits from this business. It is incongruous that others would profit from such a priceless, freely donated gift. To prevent this incongruity, it is proposed that the international anatomical community develop a normative culture (a bioethos) for body donation programs. This would involve the conscious and systematic development of ethical principles for the day-to-day policies and practices of institutions that collect and use human bodies. With the development of this bioethos, a cultural shift in how donors are treated would occur and, over time, this would become the normal practice. These principles would become fundamental and foundational for the procurement and use of priceless human tissues.  相似文献
