| 摘 要： | 翻译不仅仅是一种不同语言间的转换行为,更是一种跨文化的交际活动。随着中西经贸往来、文化交流的频繁,了解文化差异成为学习英语的必经之路,更是文化翻译者的必修内容。本文从翻译和文化的关系入手,揭示了中西文化差异在日常习语、思维、语言运用、语法等方面的诸多反映,进而强调了了解中西文化差异在翻译中具有的意义。

| Abstract: | Translation is not only a kind of conversional behavior between different languages, but also a kind of cultural communicative activity. In order to avoid cultural conflicts caused by cultural misunderstanding, it is not only necessary for English leaner to know the difference between different cultures, but also compulsory for the cultural translator. This paper begins, firstly, with the introduction of culture and translation, demonstrates the culture differences from four aspects in the perspective of emphasizing the significance of cultural understanding in the process of translation. |
