| 摘 要： | 本文结合实例分别探讨了英语小诗、歌谣在初级英语教学中的作用。从中可以看出，英语小诗、歌谣作为一种宝贵的教学资源，不仅有利于初学者的英语语音学习，激发和培养，他们的英语学习兴趣，扩展其英语文化背景知识，而且有利于他们形成健康、科学的人生观和世界观。外语教师应充分发挥小诗、歌谣在英语教学中的重要作用。

| Abstract: | This paper presents a discussion of the roles of English ballads in primary English language teaching. The discussion shows that as an important teaching resource, English ballads help the beginners learn English pronunciation well, increase their interest in English learning,enlarge their background knowledge about English culture, broaden their knowledge about the world, and help them shape correct outlooks on life and world. As a foreign language teacher, one should make full use of English ballads in English language teaching to make it lovely and interesting. |
