| 摘 要： | 20世纪20年代初,泰戈尔围绕“复活东方文化”的一系列演讲引发了陈独秀的激烈批判,其原因在于陈独秀误读了泰戈尔思想的本意。陈独秀对泰戈尔的误读,可视为中国知识分子以先入之见对待外来思想文化的产物,不仅包括跨文化交流难以避免的“消极误读”,而且包括掺杂许多主观因素的“积极误读”。陈独秀对泰戈尔思想的批判牵扯到人格评价,已经超出学术批评的伦理底线,应引起我们注意并引以为戒。

| Abstract: | In the early 1920s,Taqore's series of speeches about "the revival of Eastern culture" triggered CHEN Du-xiu's fierce criticism.The reason for this is CHEN Du-xiu's misreading of Tagore's ideological intention.This is the subjective prejudice of Chinese intellectuals to treat foreign ideological culture,which not only includes the "negative misreading" that can hardly be avoided in cross-cultural communication,but also some subjective "positive misreading".CHEN Du-xiu's criticism of Tagore's thought involves personality evaluation which surpasses the ethical bottom line of academic criticism.We should pay attention to and avoid such attitudes. |
