| 摘 要： | 东西方对世界历史、中国历史的断代划分的分歧导致"近代"一词的翻译出现不清,甚至错误。根据"近代"、"现代"在世界史、中国史中的比较共识的定义、"modern"一词的意义内涵以及"近代"一词的翻译现状,对"近代"一词应视具体情况采用不同的处理方法。
