| Abstract: | Filling an office or retiring from political life are the different expression of Tao Yuan-min' seeking ideal. "Being lofty and self-satisfied" is TAO' quintessence of ideal personality standing aloof in the appearance of retirement, and it is his untiring seeking for spiritual ideal. |
