明清徽州的蒙养教育述论

摘    要:随着明中叶后官办社学的衰落,徽州民间自行创设的义学和私塾等蒙养教育机构蓬勃发展。有明确的层次之分、高度普及和开创塾讲制度,这些是明清徽州教育的三大特色。崇儒重教的文化传统、徽商的经济资助,以及强宗固族牟宗法观念,这三者的相到作用,是明清徽州教育发展的主要社会历史原因。

Abstract:With the decline of Shexue (public education) sponsored by the authority after the mid - Ming dynasty, the organization for elementary education such as charity school and private school set up by ordinary peo ple grew vigorously. The definite stratification, high level of popularization and the creation of private schooling system are three characteristics of the elementary education in Huizhou in the Ming - Qing dynasties. The cultural tradition of respecting Confucianism and attaching importance to education, financial assistance by Huizhou merchants and patriarchal idea of strengthening clans, these three interacting elements are the main social and historical causes for the development of the elementary education in Huizhou in the Ming-Qing dynasties.
