明清徽州宗族与徽州教育发展

摘    要:明清徽州宗族对教育在“亢宗”、“大族”,以及培养子弟良好的“德行”、“资性”等方面的重要作用有极其深刻的认识。积极创办各类宗族性教育机构、重视家庭早期教育和宗族蒙学教育的规范化、对宗族子弟的学业进行严格的考核并予以奖惩、慎择教师等是其兴学重教所采取的具体措施。宗族教育的经费主要来源于宗族商人的资助,而宗族的教育追求及其规范则是徽商资本与教育结合的心理媒介。

Abstract:Huizhou clans had deep knowledge of the important role of education in suchrespects as bringing glory to the clans and cultivating good characters in the clans'descendants. To strengthen education, Huizhou clans took a series of concrete measures such as: actively establishing various kinds of clannish educational institutions,emphasizing the standardization of early family education and clans' bringing-up education,stringently examining the clans' descendants' study and cautiously choosing tutors.Its main outlay was the aid of the clans' merchants.The clans' educational pursuit and standards were psychological media for the combination of Huizhou merchant capital and education.
