| Abstract: | The possibility of applying the standard of "loyalty,correctness and elegance", a reference frame used in translation, into the process of editing is discussed. By using "loyalty,correctness and elegance" as a yardstick, a case study was conducted to find its value in editing other papers. It is realistic to employ the standard of "loyalty,correctness and elegance" in editing papers. The use of the standard of "loyalty,correctness and elegance" requires that the editors improve themselves in terms of knowledge background and personal qualities on steady basis. |
