| Abstract: | The use of gene and protein symbols is frequent in biological and medical periodicals. But it is difficult to master. There is nonstandard usage of gene and protein symbols in some biological and medical periodicals. Based on the requirements of the related naming system, the standard expression of gene and protein symbols is discussed. |
