| Abstract: | Some problems about arranging surnames and forenames of foreigners arise in the references of periodicals. A few of arrangement examples are analyzed, and the method of identifying the names of British, American and Japanese people is given in order to accord with Chinese national standards when editors list the references in surname and forename sequence. |
