| Abstract: | In this paper, the author starts with expounding the origins of historiographer's office and policy of historiographer's office and analyzing the tissues, functions and property of historiographer's office in Tang Dynasty, then discusses the great achievements of archival documents compilation that historiographer's office in Tang Dynasty have acquired and its reasons, ultimately points out that the activities of archival documents compilation in Tang Dynasty have made great contribution in Chinese archival documents compilation and culture. |
