重叠影响理论认为,家庭、学校和社区这三个背景对学生以及三者之间的关系发生了重叠影响,这种影响有助于学生在学校里和未来的生活中取得成功。从布迪厄的社会学理论视角来看,基于重叠影响视域的课程实施具有可能性,因为家庭的文化资本是影响学生成长的重要因素,社区是蕴含着丰富社会资本的场域。重叠影响视域下课程实施的基本路径是:成立学校、家庭和社区伙伴关系行动小组;创建家庭式学校和学校式家庭;建立社区学校。 相似文献

This study examines the relationship between the quality of school, family, and community partnership programs and student performance on state-mandated achievement tests. Data from 82 elementary schools, located in a large urban area, were collected to explore the relationship between family and community involvement and students' achievement test performance. Analyses show that, controlling for school characteristics, the degree to which schools were working to overcome challenges to family and community involvement predicted higher percentages of students scoring at or above satisfactory on state achievement tests. The findings suggest that schools' efforts to involve families and the community in students' learning may be a useful approach to help students achieve in school, especially for students in early elementary grades. Also, the findings illustrate the importance for schools located in large urban areas to address obstacles to family and community involvement to realize the benefits associated with family and community involvement. 相似文献

本文基于全国五省市调研数据,考察了个人、家庭、学校、社会四个层面中11种因素对我国大学生灾难生存技能的影响作用。实证研究发现：自我教育、社区教育、媒体教育显著促进我国大学生灾难生存技能的掌握程度;家庭教育、学校教育在促进大学生灾难生存技能水平增长上的应有功能未充分发挥;同时,年龄、家庭经济水平对大学生灾难生存技能的培养具有显著影响作用。在此基础上,从大学生个人、家庭、学校、社区及媒体教育五方面提出提高大学生灾难生存技能的对策建议。 相似文献

Children's home and school are the most influential contexts in which learning and development occur, especially during early childhood. This paper builds on Bronfenbrenner's ecological theory and Epstein's theory of overlapping spheres of influence to examine school and family connections and their relationships to family involvement and students’ achievement gains. We used a nationally representative sample of kindergartners (16,425 students from 864 schools) and found that schools’ efforts to communicate with and engage families predicted greater family involvement in school and higher levels of student achievement in reading and math at the end of kindergarten. We also found that, on average, family involvement at school and parents’ educational expectations were associated with gains in reading and math achievement in kindergarten. We discuss the implications of our findings for policy makers, researchers, and practitioners. 相似文献

ABSTRACT Little is known about the influence of isolation on the vocational choice processes of rural students except that such people often make very traditional career decisions. In remote areas of Australia vocational choice has to be considered at a comparatively early stage of a student's education because of the lack of full, locally available secondary education facilities. Students, in some cases accompanied by their families, migrate to urban centres to complete years 11 and 12 in order to matriculate. In the Western Australian community in which this study was located, the influence of family and school on the vocational decisions of 24 rural students was investigated. Family influence was found to be much stronger than that of the school, a matter that has implications for schools that are remote from vocational opportunities. 相似文献
