通过网络调查的方法对我国跨系统图书馆联盟建设的现状进行分析发现,高校图书馆跨系统合作意识不强、跨系统图书馆联盟分布地域较窄、城市基层公共图书馆尚未加人联盟、共享合作停留在表面、馆际互借联盟服务程序繁琐、区域发展不平衡、缺乏深层次服务。针对存在的这些问题,可以采取以下措施：充分发挥高校馆的资源优势和服务特色、扩展跨系统图书馆联盟网、建立联盟馆际互借服务系统、提高对跨系统图书馆联盟的重视、扩展联盟的服务项目。 相似文献

ABSTRACT The authors are both managers in OhioLINK libraries and have complex experiences working within a variety of simultaneous library consortial agreements. Their librarians'-eye view of consortia allows for a discussion of the nature of that landscape, some perspectives on the benefits and advantages of consortia as well as thoughts on the challenges and limitations of consortia. They conclude that while consortial partnerships hold the key to greater efficiencies and strength in libraries, the overlapping layers of consortial agreements that connect libraries form almost a web that can be constricting. Libraries should continue to be creative about how they exploit the power of consortial relationships, but they also need to learn how to lower the administrative overhead created by these agreements, particularly in the areas of communication and the organizational flow of information. Finally, the authors recommend that consortium committees spend more time on short- and long-term strategic planning. 相似文献

Consortia began as a means of sharing resources and of leveraging purchasing power for its members. How does a library balance its individual collection needs, both present and future, when it is a member of a consortium? Do the expectations of the consortium outweigh the needs of the individual library member? Public Libraries developed and grew along with the United States. In southwest Kansas, money, materials, staffing, and distance have been factors in the growth of the public libraries, and they remain current factors as well. Library consortia have aided in this development and have helped solve small library problems. This article reports a 2008 survey of public libraries that are served by the Southwest Kansas Library System (SWKLS). AbstractLibrary consortia are planning on how their funding, programs, and services may need to change with the societal tumult caused by the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic. Most consortia in North America are either state agencies or non-profit corporations which may have different approaches and options available for solving substantial budget shortfalls. Changes may need to take place in staffing, programs, and services. Some consortia may have financial portfolios which may help on filling-in budget holes. Other consortia have applied for, and received, funds from the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) to help with staffing. Many library consortia will not see a quick recovery but may have long-term consequences as their member libraries and parent organizations try to recover. 相似文献

通过对1999—2011年发表的图书馆联盟的相关论文进行核心期刊分布、被引频次和下载频次、关键词、研究层次定量分析发现:图书馆联盟的相关论文多发表于图书情报学专业的核心期刊,技术应用研究少于理论研究,等等。因此,我国图书馆联盟应继续寻求政府的支持,积极实施知识管理,尽快成立专门的联盟管理理事会,提高各成员馆间的信息交流水平,营造积极、健康和统一的联盟文化,以提升我国图书情报机构信息服务的质量和综合实力。 相似文献
