《论语》中仁与君子的关系解析

摘    要:在《论语》中,孔子与弟子的对话为我们塑造出了文质彬彬、风度翩翩的君子形象。"仁"是孔子思想的核心,君子是孔子推崇的理想人格,《论语》中的君子形象被赋予了诸多"仁"的品质。实现"仁"要遵循忠恕之道,先修己再治人;成为君子则要先内修自己的品德,然后才可以治国安民,可见二者都经历由己及人的相似过程。然而,"仁"的广博高深未必是君子能够完全达到的。因此,"仁"包含了君子所具备的美好品德,但君子却未必拥有所有"仁"的品质。

The Analyses of the Relationship Between "Ren" and "Junzi" in "The Analects"
Abstract:In “the Analects”, the dialogues between Confucius and his students, describes the elegant and refined in manner and graceful in appearance image of “Junzi ( a man of noble character)”for us. “Ren (benevolence) is a central concept in Confucius’ ethical thinking as reported in “the Analects”.“Junzi”can be regarded as the best model of ideal Confucian personality. The image of “Junzi” in “the Analects” is given lots of qualities of “Ren”. Achieving “Ren”must proceed on the principles of benevolence and loyalty, training himself and then influencing others;while becoming a “Junzi”should cultivate his moral characters and then rule the country and bring the people the stability. Clearly they both experience the similar process. However, “Ren” is too extensive and profound for “Junzi”to reach. Therefore, “Ren” includes all the good characters that “Junzi”should have, while “Junzi”may not possess all the qualities of “Ren”.
